Pete Davidson Is Grateful To Charlamagne Tha God After Kanye West Attack

Pete Davidsonis one of the many people attacked by Kanye West recently. Charlamagne Tha God came to his defense.

The comedian is allegedly thankful for the radio show host after he stepped in and shut down West’s hateful comments about him after he had a brief relationship with Kim Kardashian, the rapper’s ex.

“Pete reached out to Charlamagne and thanked him for standing up for him against Kanye,” shares a source with Hollywood Life. “Pete truly wants nothing to do with the drama and wishes Kanye would just move past this. Pete certainly has, and he’s focused on his own life,” says the source.

Davidson has maintained that he wants no beef with West, he even admitted at one point that he was a fan of the “Stronger” rapper. “He just wishes Kanye would do the same.”

The source continues to claim that “It meant a lot for Charlamagne to have his back and he knows he is a true friend.” Charlamagne has openly condemned West for his behavior recently, holding him accountable as a friend would.

He didn’t appreciate it when West made disparaging comments about the Saturday Night Live alum. “They go way back and even though Pete knows Charlamagne is cool with Kanye, he appreciates [the Breakfast Club host ]for speaking up for him.”

West’s hate for Davidson began soon after Kardashian went public with the King of Staten Island star. She and West had not officially divorced and he felt like it was cheating in a way. But, instead of pointing his anger toward Kim, he attacked Davidson endlessly.

The “Runaway” rapper tried to get Charlamage to slam Davidson during a private phone call when he and West were engaged in “an argument” according to Charlamagne. “You know Pete is my friend, right?” he says to West refusing to engage in the hate speech.

West proceeded to allegedly unleash on him; “My wife is out here f***ing a white boy with a 10-inch penis! And you won’t help me. You’re telling me that’s your friend? When you’re supposed to be culture?”

After this is when West allegedly began attacking Pete on Twitter and Instagram posting now infamous statements like; “Skete Davidson Dead At Age 28”. Even before the social media attacks, the rapper talked about beating “his ass” on the song “Eazy”.

Kanye has also notably called Davidson a “dickhead” and “trash”. Davidson, after splitting from Kardashian entered “trauma rehab” for the attacks.

Yeah, he can use all the support he can get.
