Priyanka Chopra & Nick Jonas' Daughter Malti Celebrates First Diwali In Style

Diwali, also known as the Festival of Lights, is the most prestigious Hindu holiday of the year, celebrated by Indians worldwide, generally lasting five days. 

As the festivity progressed from Monday, October 24, the Chopra-Jonas kinsfolk were among those commemorating the festival but this time, with their daughter Malti, marking her first Diwali. 

Taking to Instagram to let fans in on the celebration, Priyanka Chopra Jonas uploaded nine lovely pictures featuring herself, her husband, Nick Jonas, their only child, Malti, and her mother. 

In the caption, she wrote, "Love, peace, and prosperity to all. From a heart truly laden with gratitude. I wish you all a Happy Diwali. Sorry, I'm a little late but decided to stay in the moment just a little longer."

The Indian actress added a Hindu phrase before concluding with: "From ours to yours. Love and light," accompanied by a Diya Lamp, grateful hands, and a red heart emoji.

Looking as endearing as ever, the beautiful family of four donned elegant matching nude-hued attires, including baby Malti whose face was typically obscured in most pictures. Priyanka was dressed in an embroidered ensemble comprising a cropped top, a matching thigh-length jacket, and wide, intricately designed pants.

In contrast, Malti wore a long flowing loose dress, while Nick opted for white pants and a nude calf-length loose robe. Some slides showed the family in a serene white temple lit with large candles, while in two other images, fans got to see a scenic outdoor view close to a pool.

Prior to the detailed Diwali-themed post, the Indian producer's partner shared two pictures on Instagram of his family marking the festival. The first snap showed him carrying Malti with her face covered with a red heart emoji. His wife was also included in the picture as she beamed, posing beside him.

In the next slide, the trio was seated on the floor, close to each other, with Priyanka carrying their daughter while Nick held the little one's hand. Malti's face was also obscured with a red heart emoji. 

Wishing Hindu fans a joyous celebration, the "Camp Rock" alum expressed in the caption, "Such a beautiful Diwali celebration with my [red heat emoji]. Happy Diwali, everyone. Sending joy and light to you all. #diwali." 

The married couple's posts garnered millions of likes in no time, with thousands sending love and positive wishes to the celebrating family. Not long ago, Malti had another first-time experience but not as a holiday but taking a trip to "the big apple," as chronicled on Instagram, which The Blast reported.

Although Priyanka rarely shows off her cute baby girl in public or on social media, she ensured to share the then-new experience in heartwarming pictures. In the first show, the mother and daughter duo looked out through the window of their high-level room with the 40-year-old glowing as she gazed at Malti. 

The second image gave fans a closer view of her delight as she clung to her baby girl. As expected, both pictures did not show the tot's face, causing criticism now and again from followers on social media.

Some months ago, a hater affronted Priyanka about the act, saying, "The covering of your baby face is old now. Relax, mother of the year. No one cares what ur babies face looks like. It's a baby."

Priyanka and Nick may not be taken with sharing their daughter with the world; however, they have no qualms about flooding fans with hot glimpses of themselves in their loving moments.

One such instance which The Blast reported was a June photo dump on the gram, which the actress captioned with some hashtags and emojis signifying the pair was on a romantic island vacation.

In a snap, the National Film Award recipient locked lips with her beau as they stood on the beach while another showed her in a yellow two-piece, heading for the waves.

One other image featured Priyanka wearing loungewear while taking a noon nap, whereas Nick could be seen sporting a black top and cuddling his spouse in another photo. The "Quantico" actress did not stop there but uploaded a video showing her in a dark green swimsuit that flaunted her lovely figure as she floated on sparkling blue waters.
