Momoa unveiled a new appearance to followers on his Instagram account. The actor showed in the video that he had cut off his plaits, holding up the pieces of the camera.

The actor's signature long waves were a key component of his appearance, making many fans who knew him by the look to expresses shock at the change.

However, just like the actor appeared to have no qualms about ditching the long-term appearance, he also boldly added a new tattoo to his collection of ink works.

The new tattoo, which was created by artist Keone Nunes, is similar to the substantial artwork on actor Jason Momoa's left forearm, which the star previously claimed was inspired by a Hawaiian family crest. It begins at the front of his hairline and flows beautifully and intricately down his neck.
