Michael Allio has found himself in the midst of drama and conspiracy theories formed by Bachelor Nation.

The 38-year-old single father built a connection with Sierra Jackson on “Bachelor In Paradise” right off the bat. Within the first few days of being on the beach, Michael opened up about the loss of his wife, Laura, and how life as a single parent can sometimes be difficult. Sierra responded with support, and even named a group of stars after Michael’s family, including his late wife.

Unfortunately, that was the same night Michael ended things with Sierra, which threw her off guard. The single father said there was “something missing” between them, leaving Sierra heartbroken. Instead of staying on the beach to see who else would walk down, she decided to leave.

After Sierra left, Danielle Maltby came walking down the stairs, saving Michael from elimination. And when watching the episode back for the first time, Sierra did not hold back, slamming her ex-boyfriend and the franchise on social media.

Sierra first simply wrote “#convenient” when Danielle and Michael paired up on last night’s episode. Shortly after, she Tweeted out “He said ‘a little bit of history’” with the monocle emoji.

Sierra continued to share her thoughts on the connection, writing, “I feel highly disrespected. I’m gonna go meditate.”

And as Michael and Danielle revealed more details of their history, including that the two formed a friendship on social media before the show as they connected over losing their significant other, Sierra Tweeted, “Even MORE #convenient.”

But that’s not all because when Danielle and Michael went on their 1-on-1 date together, Danielle said she’d never been on a 1-on-1 date in “Paradise” before. However, fans were quick to point out that she did, however, have a one on one date while on “The Bachelor”. Sierra was quick to call out Danielle, pointing out the fact that she has never gotten the chance to go on a 1-on-1 date *ever.*

“I’ve never been on a 1:1 ever… period. #BachelorInParadise lmao eff me,” she wrote.

Fans of the franchise agreed with Sierra, finding the timing of Danielle's arrival to be sketchy. Now, Michael, himself, is addressing the controversy.

The 38-year-old addressed the backlash and "conspiracy theories" circulating Bachelor Nation via a TikTok video this weekend.

In the TikTok video, Michael commented on a fan theory about his "Bachelor in Paradise" storyline, where he said "Taking a rose when [your] heart's not in it is 'leading someone on."

"Choosing to end my only relationship when I was gifted a constellation and didn't have a rose was not a 'good look' but I knew that," he continued.

And when the fan theory brought up how they think the contestants know who is next to come down the beach, Michael put that to rest. "No one on the beach knows who is coming down... [well] at least I didn't," he said.

Although, at the end of the day, Michael did acknowledge that he did not end his time with Sierra the best way he could have. "I still should [have] handled the breakup better, that's on me," he said in the video.
