Kim Kardashian Explains Explosive ‘KUWTK’ Fight With Kourtney

Kim Kardashian has opened up on her recent fight with Kourtney Kardashian, which aired in the premiere episode of “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” on March 26.

Kourtney became enraged when her sister insinuated that the mother-of-three was lazy and doesn’t prioritize work the same as her other siblings.

Kim, while in self-isolation, made a virtual appearance on "The Tonight Show: At Home Edition," where she explained how intense things had gotten between her and Kourtney - things were so bad that production even had to be halted.

'It was pretty intense. I feel it was a lot of built up resentment from Kourtney or just feeling like she doesn't want to film anymore,' the 39-year-old gushed.

Kim further explained that the Poosh founder’s explosive attack stemmed from the fact that she no longer wanted to film for the family’s reality show anymore.

'She's not the type of person to make a decision, and say "Okay guys, I'm not going to film," but she would come to work with an attitude every day, and kind of take it out on everyone and the crew and to us and wouldn't really make that decision, so we would kind of like keep on pushing her, to figure out why she was so unhappy.'

The KKW CEO went on to share that her fight with Kourtney left quite the reaction on their mother, Kris Jenner, who was left in tears after watching the intense altercation play out on the premiere episode last week.

She also explained how filming was halted to let the situation cool down, quipping: 'When my mom saw that, a clip of that, she cried. And was like, "Who are you guys? Like what is going on?" Kourtney and I are obviously fine now, but we shut down production for a week after that.

'I think everybody was really shook for a minute, and just was like "this isn't our type of show, what's happening? We want everyone to be comfortable and safe.'

Kourtney has since explained that while she has not quit “KUWTK,” as previously claimed in November 2019, she has reduced the amount of time that she will film with the camera crew to focus her attention on motherhood and her lifestyle brand.

Given that she’s shared everything about her private life on television for the past 13 years, it’s understandable why Kourtney would want to step away and try out other things. After all, it’s not like she needs the money, so she’s willing to explore different options.

'I just decided to spend more time as a mom and put more of my energy there,' she told E! News. 'But I’m not saying goodbye. But I think you’ll have to see more of it in the new season, season 18. It isn’t airing yet, but it’s being filmed. Currently, in this room.'

Kim and Kourtney’s recent feud on “KUWTK” came up in the midst news that Kylie Jenner had bailed on attending the Balmain fashion show during Paris Fashion Week last year because she had fallen ill and was therefore unable to fly out to France.

Kris Jenner, who had already flown out to Paris, thinking that Kylie would find the strength to suck it up and commit to her work obligations, ended up phoning Kim and pled with her to take the makeup mogul’s position in closing Balmain’s fashion show.

But Kim refused, saying that her brand didn’t fit with Kylie’s for her to represent Kylie Cosmetics at the event.
