It was a big celebration at Yankee Stadium on Sunday (Oct. 23) as the Houston Astros won the 2022 American League Championship Series (ALCS), clinching another trip to the World Series. Few were as happy of course as supermodel Kate Upton, who appeared during the post-game celebration and was having the time of life alongside her husband, Houston Astros pitcher Justin Verlander.

Upton was also getting attention on social media for the cool custom Astros Verlander jacket she was wearing at the game, which also gained some attention on social media.

After the Astros won a close game against the Yankees in the ninth inning by 6-5, Upton came out onto the field to celebrate with the team and their close friends and loved ones. Upton and Verlander embraced, while Verlander also enjoyed a game-winning can of Bud Light.

Upton's custom satin jacket, which features her husband's name and number on it, also gained a lot of attention on social media.

As noted by USA Today, this isn't the first time Upton wore a custom Verlander jacket to a Houston Astros playoff game. She wore a custom denim jacket with Verlander's name and number on it ahead of a successful ALCS Game 1 appearance back in 2017.

Upton and Verlander were engaged at that point. The two got married shortly after the Astros won the 2017 World Series in November of that year. The two later welcomed their first child, daughter Genevieve, in November of the following year.

News 2 Houston uncovered that Upton's customized jacket is sold by Mitchell & Ness, as part of the brand's 2022 MLB Fall Line, similar to the custom jacket she wore in 2017, which was also a Mitchell & Ness product. Unfortunately, the satin jacket she wore at this week's game is currently sold out in all sizes at Mitchell & Ness' website. Sadly, News 2 Houston also notes that Mitchell & Ness currently has no plans to restock the jacket at this time.

Verlander, Upton, and their daughter recently got to have an MLB outing together as a family, and they looked like they were having a great time when they attended the MLB Red Carpet All-Star Show a while back with their daughter Genevieve. After the event, Upton wrote about her husband's impressive run and comeback after returning to play after undergoing Tommy John surgery.

She wrote on her husband Verlander at the time, "Can I just take a moment and brag about my husband? Justin had TJ surgery and had to step away from playing for almost 2 years." Upton continued, "He has put in so much work to be where he is today… He is continuing to break records and hit new milestones in his career. It was so fun having the family together to support Justin at his 9th All-Star experience. I am so proud of you @justinverlander!"

Back in 2020, while pandemic lockdowns were in full effect, Verlander announced on his Instagram that he and Upton would be donating his MLB paychecks received during the suspended season to support various coronavirus charities.

Verlander and the Houston Astros still have a ways to go before becoming MLB Champions again. They will face the Philadelphia Phillies in the 2022 World Series starting later this week.

Game 1 of the World Series is slated for Friday, October 28 at Houston's Minute Maid Park. The games will be broadcast live on FOX.
