Heather Rae & Tarek El Moussa Declare Love In Anniversary Tribute

The lovebirds' first wedding anniversary has been a long-time coming, as Heather has been on about it all month. For the big day, the couple, who were out on a getaway, engaged in many fun activities, like watching out for whales from their yacht. The anniversary, however, will not be complete without the couple's outpouring of love for each other.

The "Selling Sunset" star on her Instagram page shared a series of snaps from their wedding reception, where they played a fun game of the groom using his teeth to take off her garter belt as she sat in the chair laughing.

The rest of the pictures featured just the two of them alongside some lovely silhouettes as they stood in an intimate embrace. The post came with a lengthy sweet message that partly read:

"To my husband, on our one year wedding anniversary. One year ago we were waking up for one of the most important days of our lives. To commit to each other as husband and wife. There are not enough words to describe my love for you. We’ve built a beautiful life together already in these 3 1/2 years together, and now our family is growing."

Referring to their unborn baby, she mentioned how she could not wait to see him being a father to their son, especially after seeing the way he was with his two kids, Taylor and Brayden.  

The actress thanked her beau for loving, protecting, and supporting her every single day, adding how he made her "a better woman," emphasizing her strength and confidence while showing her what true love looked like. 

She ended the lovely message by writing that she loved him and that they would be "best friends & soulmates forever and ever. Me & you. One lifetime will not be enough time with you. Love your bunny."

As expected, Tarek also posted a heartwarming message to his wife of one year, and it felt like they were already thinking alike as his post almost mirrored hers completely. His post had similar pictures from their wedding but slightly different moments — some of which he was feeding his bride some cake and their embrace on the dance floor.  

The "Flip or Flop" star started his caption similarly to how Heather started hers, which read, "One year down and a lifetime to go. This time last year, I was getting ready to say "I do" to my best friend! Now, one year later, we are getting ready for a baby!!"

The real estate mogul, like his wife, wrote that although life was crazy, he always felt lucky to have met his soulmate. He also said that the greatest feeling in life was finding someone who knew and accepted every part of him while making him a better person. 

The father-of-two attributed being made whole to her, adding that she changed his life and brought hope into his life. He shared that the best part of their relationship was getting to fall in love with her more and more every day, ending with, "You're just so special to me, and I love this life with you."

Heather, who has remained over the moon regarding her anniversary week, shared some details about her love life as a way of inspiring others via a post on Instagram. The first slide showed them dancing with their heads against each other, while the following slide was a back view of them waving to their guests. 

The rest of the pictures showed the couple giving their speeches, sharing a deeply intimate kiss, and hugging family members. In her caption, she explained that the reason behind the many pictures was because it was almost their anniversary and that it was special to her. The "Love in the time of Monsters'' actress added that the post was for everyone who believed in love.

She added that she also "believes in true love and who never gave up on knowing that I would find my person." Heather disclosed that although she was a romantic, it did not stop her from envying those who had found their life partners, as she often wondered why it was not the same for her.  

The reality tv star said that after she met Tarek, she almost refused to go on a date with him out of fear but ended up braving it and was happy she did. She noted that she was thankful the universe aligned their souls "Because every day I wake up knowing I have a man that supports me and loves me through everything. This is all to say: Never, never, never give up."
