Heather Rae Young Fully Takes On Husband's Name Ahead Of 1st Anniversary

Heather Rae Young is making permanent changes to her social media profiles!

Since Heather and her husband, Tarek El Moussa, met, they have been fully committed to each other. Their whirlwind relationship saw them move in together after just a week of dating before their October 2021 wedding in Montecito, California. Those steps came with many changes and compromises, which the "Selling Sunset" star is more than happy to indulge in.

Heather made and followed through on another decision to officially change her Instagram handle to include her new last name, El Moussa. The replacement was instantly apparent in a recent post she shared with her three million followers.

The post came with a singular picture of the reality star beaming as she leaned against her husband slightly. Her engagement and wedding rings are in full view as Heather used that hand to hold a cute Christian Dior handbag.

She paired the bag with a white round-neck t-shirt, black dungarees, minimal gold earrings, and a silver-and-gold wristwatch. As for Tarek, he looked cool with a smile on his face and one thumb tucked into his trouser pockets. He accessorized a black watch, matching bracelets, and a silver necklace with a round neck t-shirt and gray bottoms. 

Heather began her caption by pointing out that she was handling multiple "projects" at the same time, some of which included doing ten flips, "filming two shows," and "growing a human," which was "loving and cherishing every minute." However, she had a new pregnancy update for fans, and she wrote: 

"the baby’s been in a “position” not sure what he’s doing in there, heheheh and it’s been affecting my sciatic nerve. It’s been 10 days so I’m hoping to get some relief soon😅 The crazy thing is I sat on my mom’s sciatic nerve to the point where she couldn’t even stand up straight so maybe it’s a littleee bit of payback."

The pregnant 35-year-old then asked her followers to "peep the name change," which came just in time for her and Tarek's first wedding anniversary. The post has already gotten nearly 50k likes, with some fans suggesting acupuncture as the answer to her sciatic nerve problems.

Heather recently elicited love and romance in people's hearts when she uploaded a sweet shot of her man kissing her cheek. The Blast noted that she smiled hugely as she leaned into Tarek's kiss and cradled her growing bump.

The real estate agent's sleeveless orange dress blends perfectly well with her husband's casual shirt, jeans, and necklace. It turned out that the picture was a recreation of the duo’s first official snap as a couple, which was placed in the next slide of the post. Heather wrote in the caption:

"Taking a little trip down memory lane... this photo was from today during our interview together, but swipe for one of the first photos we ever posted to share that we were "official," and now it's our one year wedding anniversary this week... time flies but I love this life and every moment with you."

Earlier this month, The Blast reported that the El Moussas could not get enough of expressing their admiration for each other publicly. To that end, Tarek used a throwback snap of himself and Heather to praise her for her undeniable strength during her pregnancy.

The photo, which was snapped at Heather's 35th birthday shindig, showed the duo rocking matching black outfits. While Tarek posed in his signature casual look, his wife wore a flowy lace dress with tiny straps. 

The couple looked happy as Tarek put his hand around his wife's waist on a sidewalk close to some greeny and a white fence. The then-celebrant's hand was on her baby bump. The "Flip or Flop" star captioned the pic:

"In awe of this woman and her ability to be so beautiful, hardworking, loving, and kind. She makes being a pregnant entrepreneur look easy and inspires me daily. I'm a lucky man. If you have any pregnancy-related questions for us, drop them. And I'll get to as many as I can."

The post has 33k likes and several glowing comments, with one calling Heather and Tarek, a "power couple."
