'Jersey Shore' star Vinny Guadagnino is going to have to keep his shirt on for the next few months after it was announced his 'Chippendales' residency in Las Vegas has been postponed.

Most fans of the show saw this one coming, Vinny has been forced to push back his show due to the simple fact...Las Vegas is on lockdown.

Plus, if you haven't been to a Chippendales show, it is packed full of people and the dancers pick a few special fans to join them on stage. Let's just say it gets a little too close for comfort!

Vinny posted a message on Instagram to all of his fans giving them the bad news. "To all of my fans: Like all of you, the Chippendales team & I have been watching & hoping for this to end. Unfortunately, it continues," the statement began.

He continued, "It is with deep regret & concern for everyone's safety & well being that we have decided to postpone that start of my residency."

The good news...the show isn't officially canceled, Vinny says the team is going to lock down new dates as soon as the Las Vegas strip opens up!

"As soon as there is some clarity & we able to lock down new dates, you will be the first to know. Getting back on stage & partying with all of you in Vegas is something I look forward to each and & every day. I truly cannot wait!" he wrote. Adding, "Thank you for your patience and understanding. With love, Vinny & My Boys At Chippendales."

Vinny was set to return for a third stint joining the male revue in Las Vegas. The show was scheduled to begin on April 24. In previous shows, Vinny is known for stripping down completely naked inside of a shower during the show.

The 'Jersey Shore' star insists he isn't just a hot body, he actually came to Vegas to get into the entertainment scene. “People don’t realize I’ve done a lot of comedy and improv,” he told the Las Vegas Review-Journal. Adding, “I have spent six to eight years looking for the door into the Vegas show scene. I’m not a DJ or singer, but this is a weird lane and I just said, ‘Let’s do it.’”
