Ronnie Ortiz-Magro is letting fans see his vulnerable side with a sweet message to his daughter on the tiny tyke's second birthday. Opening up about the stressful hours leading up to Ariana Sky Magro's birth, the "Jersey Shore" star said all the chaos was worth it because she's changed his life for the better. Reiterating how incredibly important his young daughter with ex-girlfriend Jen Harley is to him, the reality star added that no one will ever keep her from him and he'll always be around to protect her.
Posting several snaps of Ariana Sky's past two years on Instagram Wednesday, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro paired the father/daughter photos with an emotional tribute to his only child. Recalling the day she was born, he wrote, "IT WAS APRIL 1ST, I FELT U IN HER STOMACH," before stating he had to fly to London that day to promote "Jersey Shore" and had a feeling in the pit of his stomach that he "SHOULDN’T HAVE WENT, I FELT I SHOULD’VE STAYED." But he ignored his gut and flew to the U.K. alongside his castmates and it wasn't smooth sailing.
"HEY GIVE US A 4 HOUR FLIGHT DELAY ON THE GROUND.. I WANTED TO FLY HOME," Ortiz-Magro said before revealing they boarded last minute and were in the air three hours outside of London when "I GET A FT! THAT SAYS I’M
HAVING THE BABY!" Adding he completely "panicked," the MTV star explained the complicated process to get back to the U.S. in time for her birth. "I LANDED AND GOT THRU CUSTOMS.. I HAD TO RE CHECK MY BAG AND GET BACK THRU CUSTOMS.. I BOARD THE PLANE!! I GET A TEXT SAYING THE BABY IS ALMOST THERE! I HAVE A 8 HOURS FLIGHT!" he explained.
Despite the chaotic day, Ortiz-Magro made it to the hospital in time for Ariana's birth. Turning the focus on his daughter, the "Jersey Shore" star wrote, "NO MATTER WHERE U ARE, WHO KEEPS U FROM ME, I WILL ALWAYS BE HERE FOR U! IT’LL ARE MY WORLD , YOU ARE MY REASON!" Addressing the drama with his ex, Oritz-Magro ended his lengthy tribute adding, "I WAKE UP EVERYDAY THANKING GOD FOR U! EVEN THOUGH I CAN’T BE WITH YOU, I WILL ALWAYS BE HERE. I LOVE YOU SO MUCH! AND WILL NEVER STOP FIGHTING FOR U!" Most recently, he was ordered not to contact Jen Harley after he was accused of violating the terms of his criminal restraining order relating to an alleged fight with Harley, which also involved their daughter.
