Wendy Williams is changing courses in her career.
The veteran TV show host is no longer hosting her daytime talk show, “The Wendy Williams Show,” and it appears she’s ready to get into the restaurant industry.
According to famed restauranter Rosanna Scotto of "Fresco by Scotto," the former VJ has expressed an interest in opening up her own restaurant.
Wendy Williams Wants To Own A Restaurant
Scott told Page Six, “She loves the meatballs at Fresco, and the last time I talked to her she’s like, ‘OK, Rosanna, I am coming to Fresco and I want the meatballs and then you’re going to help me open up my own restaurant.’”
Of course, this would mean more competition for Scotto, but she at the end of the day it's all love between them.
“I don’t know if she wants me to waitress or what,” Scotto joked, “but she did tell me she wants to open her own restaurant and she wants me to help… If there is [a restaurant] from Wendy, it will be big competition but I love her.”
From Talk Shows To Restaurants; Wendy Plans New Career Adventure
Since departing from her talk show in February, Wendy has been wrapped up in a legal battle with her banking institution. She’s also endured multiple health problems and substance struggles.
In August, video of Wendy grabbing onto her body guard for dear life surfaced.
On August 23, the former talk show star was snapped leaving her apartment building while holding on tight to her body guard.
She looked perplexed as she made her way into an awaiting vehicle and appeared unable to walk without her security member holding her up, although it is not clear why.
The video was pretty bizarre.
She also took a moment to dote on a massive diamond ring she was wearing.
"This is a real ring. I wanted it so big that it looks fake," Wendy randomly told photogs. "By the way, my next destination is Core Club to get my money.”
Wendy has been battling her financial advisors and Wells Fargo to gain access to her money for months.
That same month, Wendy promoted her upcoming podcast.
The former talk show host shared a new promotional photo for, “The Wendy Experience Podcast.”
On August 29, the official Instagram account for her podcast shared a photo of Wendy in her royal-looking chair. She’s wearing a white fur coat, silver jewelry with full hair and makeup done.

The Blast previously reported on Wendy’s eyebrow-raising video shared earlier this month.
The video appears to have since been deleted from the platform.
In the promotional clip, the camera closed in on the National Radio Hall of Fame inductee’s face before zooming out to show the New Jersey native sitting on a bed. After giving viewers a quick glimpse at the 58-year-old’s casual ensemble, featuring a black t-shirt and denim shorts, the footage ended with a graphic poster of the podcast’s title.
For the promo, Williams assured fans, and her fellow co-hosts that her status as a famous figure would remain intact until her eventual return. The “Love Triangle” host reaffirmed her pledge in the post’s caption by imploring the world to wait for her. “TRUST ME, I will be BACK!” she wrote.
