In her latest Instagram post, the Boston native donned a baggy blue bodysuit as she held herself up in a plank on her forearms and moved her body through a variety of exercises designed to strengthen the muscles in her abdomen.

“Slowly working on my core…I like reintroducing abs into my routine with these exercises because they encourage pulling the rectus abdom together from the pelvic floor, rather than splitting apart in more superficially targeting workouts,” she wrote in the caption.

“I do 10-20 of the running forearm planks," she added. "Then 5-10, lifting my hips up. Collapse like me, or stretch at the end (that would be better 🤣).”

Some fans were shocked to see that Hilaria’s baby bump seems to have all but disappeared. One fan asked, “Wait, wut? Didn't you just have a baby like 6hrs ago? Where's your baby belly? Absolutely amazing 🔥. I'm going to do these ab exercises starting tomorrow! Thank you ❤️.” Another follower agreed, commenting, “Amazing how quickly you always get back in shape 👏👏👏😍.”

Saturday will mark exactly one month since her Ilaria has been born. When her daughter was officially six days old, Hilaria penned a touching open letter to her daughter to tell her, and her followers, the meaning of her name.

Hilaria admitted that the Baldwin family is “exhausted” as they try to adjust to the transition of being new parents yet again. She explained that she and Alec are “trying to be as good parents as possible to your siblings, trying to be as present and active as possible, while also trying to have compassion for my body that I just had a baby.”

“It’s a hard balance and one that I don’t think I do very well, since it pulls at my heart in such a painful way when I feel I’m not giving enough to all my children,” she admitted. “Mom guilt…it’s real.”

“Every mother knows how wonderful and hard it is to have a baby, and that we often feel that we’re never enough,” she wrote. “And unfortunately, every mother knows we just have to suck it up and continue on. I want to do my very best to change it for all women, including you and your sisters.”

Hilaria revealed that she named her daughter Ilaria “in honor of happiness and the mothers in our family who came before you,” adding, “Our name means happy in all languages. A few letters different here and there…same meaning.”

“Hija mía, sometimes we have to lean into happiness, choose the warm and supportive people, because there are so many, and dial down the negativity to absorb as little of it as possible,” she concluded. “May we live happy, Ilaria, and may our names always be a strong, feminist reminder.”
