Everything You Need to Know About Bridget Moynahan's Husband

You might know Bridget Moynahan best from her role on CBS's Blue Bloods as Erin Reagan, but since she's been playing major roles for more than 20 years, it's possible you know her from something. She's had parts in Coyote Ugly, Serendipity, John Wick, and I, Robot to name a few.

Though Moynahan is pretty big in Hollywood, she keeps her personal life pretty, well, personal. Thou she had hit headlines after her dramatic breakup with her NFL star ex-boyfriend, Tom Brady.

The couple's breakup really wasn't that interesting. They dated for only a couple years, 2004-2006, and the breakup most likely wouldn't have gotten media attention at if Moynahan hadn't announced that she was pregnant a few months after the split occurred. In that time, Brady had moved on to Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bündchen, who he would later marry.

Moynahan commented on the situation to Yahoo! Entertainment, saying:

"I had a public breakup and then I was pregnant and then I had a baby, and those moments were kind of stolen from me by the paparazzi, the tabloids, whatever."

The paparazzi continued to push after the news of the pregnancy was out. Now, she was interesting. Her son, John Edward Thomas Moynahan, was born in the summer of 2007. The media continued to hound. Moynahan was hiding from photographers, and that would leave a lasting impression on her psyche.

How'd she deal with it? She went shopping. Moynahan bought a pair of boots that gave her a sense of toughness. According to People, she saw a pair of motorcycle boots and decided they were for her. She says:

"I thought, that’s what I need. Let me get a little bit of my ‘New York’ back, a little armor."

Moynahan would move on to write a book and marry a New York businessman by the name of Andrew Frankel. Frankel is the co-president of Stuart Frankley & Co, Inc, a brokerage firm that his father started. Not a whole lot is known about Frankle since he stays under the radar.

Moynahan's sense of privacy also makes finding things about Frankel difficult. She has an Instagram but rarely posts anything related to her personal life. Instead, you'll find pictures with co-stars and posts supporting causes and charities.

Moynahan did share one post that touched on her relationship in October of 2019. It was a post about her anniversary with Frankle. She shares photos from their wedding on October 17, 2015, and captions the post "Happy anniversary!"

The couple's wedding was fairly secretive. They lured guests to the ceremony under false pretenses, surprising the group as they showed up to a wedding they weren't expecting. She's happy with Frankel, commenting on married life on Live with Kelly and Ryan, saying:

"Married life is good. I finally figured it out in my 40s that when it works it works and there doesn’t have to be drama."
