R. Kelly’s Girlfriend Joycelyn Savage Moves Out Of Singer’s Luxury Condo Into Modest Pad

R. Kelly’s last remaining girlfriend, Joycelyn Savage, is no longer living in the lap of luxury after having to move while the singer remains behind bars.

According to court documents obtained by The Blast, Kelly’s lawyer is requesting the disgraced singer be released from prison due to the Coronavirus outbreak.

His lawyer claims Kelly is at risk while locked up at Chicago MCC. In his motion, Kelly’s lawyer proposed a release plan to the court. He says Kelly would live with his girlfriend Joycelyn Savage in a large apartment complex.

The apartment complex named in the documents is extremely modest compared to Kelly’s previous digs.

Kelly was living in his 2-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom, 2,022 sq. ft. condo in Trump Tower Chicago. The pad featured a gourmet kitchen with huge granite island, two fireplaces, hardwood floors and 10-foot floor to ceiling windows. The property is estimated to be worth $1,365,489. Similar units in the building rent for around $7,000 a month.

The amenities include a door person, elevator, exercise room, health club, pool, sauna, restaurant, storage and valet.

Joycelyn and his ex-girlfriend Azriel Clary had been living in the Trump Tower condo following his arrest and incarceration.

In August 2019, Kelly’s lawyer, Steve Greenberg, said his client’s two girlfriends were looking for a new home. He said the landlord was working with them, but they expected to be out by September.

Joycelyn and Azriel continued to live in the condo past September. Azriel finally left the singer and moved out in December. The condo was the scene of the infamous fight between Azriel and Joycelyn at the end of January.

However, it looks like Joycelyn has finally had to leave the apartment and move into a more budget-friendly spot. The apartment complex she is currently living in is around 10 minutes from the Trump Tower Chicago.

The complex offers 1-2 bedroom apartments renting from $1,997 to around $4,656 a month, a far cry from the million dollar condo in the sky. The sq. unit can range from 771 sq. ft. to around 1,550 sq. ft.

The amenities at the new spot include a fitness room, landscaping and it’s smoke free.

As The Blast previously reported, a judge has yet to rule on Kelly’s motion for bond.
