She also revealed that the separation was not sudden but that they had been thinking about it for a few months.

The TV host concluded by noting that the reason for taking their time was to personally come to terms with the fact that it was not working out for them anymore. He ended the message with, "I can smile knowing she'll always be there for me as I will be for her."

This would be Bailey's second marriage to come to an end, as she got divorced from Peter Thomas in 2016. Fast forward to 2018, Bailey and Hill got romantically linked and married in a lavish ceremony in Acworth, Georgia, surrounded by over two hundred guests.

The Blast shared that the pair, in a joint statement, confirmed the split saying, "LOVE is a beautiful thing. While we both will always have a love for one another, we have decided to go our separate ways."

In January, The Blast noted that fans of the Bronx NYC native were shocked when he revealed that they had faced road bumps less than a year into their marriage. While it is normal for couples to have some issues, it was surprising because they portrayed their love story on social media.

In an interview with the "Behind the Velvet Rope" podcast, the former Fox Sports News reporter admitted that they had some arguments. He shared that the tense disagreement came up during their wedding anniversary, saying:

"Sunday was our anniversary, and then I took Monday off and had to go back to work on Tuesday. We basically stayed in town and went to this great hotel that's in town in West Hollywood, and we just chilled, went to dinner, and enjoyed each other's company."

The "Hill and Schlereth" host disclosed that because they were transparent people, their arguments tended to cause him to feel like the marriage would not work out. He did make sure to emphasize that it was nothing malicious and just a misunderstanding caused by inadequate communication.
