It's been less than two weeks since rapper Cardi B went on a mega rant about the novel coronavirus – "Sh*t is getting real," the 27-year-old said as she spoke to her followers, also repeating the COVID-19 virus' name: "Coronavirus...Coronavirus...," Cardi said.

Within days of the rant going live, DJ iMarrkeyz had remixed the rapper's words into a video. It went viral in no time, eventually making headlines for entering the iTunes charts.

Chanel West Coast's latest Instagram update reminded fans how awesome the remix is.

The video (seen below) showed Chanel in a boiler suit. The 31-year-old rapper and "Ridiculousness" star had been filmed in various, low-res settings as she busted out moves to the remix – all, however, showed the star in her all-in-one and hooded white clothing.

Protective footwear was also seen, with Chanel switching from selfie footage to moments where she danced while holding a paint roller.

A caption from the "Sharon Stoned" rapper shared more. And yes, even Chanel was laughing.

"Just at the crib staying corona free and painting," she wrote, adding cry-face emoji.

Chanel's post proved a hit, racking up over 88,000 views in 10 hours, with the comments section clearly showing the star's fans as digging the content.

"?????? Yooooooo!!!! That thug walk took me out!!!" one fan wrote.

"Now that’s what I call corona VOL.1 ???," another said.

"This is the best thing I've seen on quarantine get it girl" was another comment.

Cardi's remix has now scored its first Billboard entry, having sold approximately 3,000 copies in the week ending March 19. Far more indicative of the video's popularity, though, has been its social media circulation.

Cardi has proven immensely vocal during the global pandemic. A recent rant saw the "Bodak Yellow" rapper throw shade at both the U.S. government for its response, plus celebrities – Cardi accused the growing number of famous faces testing positive of being paid to do so.

“But then I be seeing these basketball players say like, ‘Yeah, I have the coronavirus, but I don’t got no symptoms.’ So how the f-ck am I supposed to know when I’m supposed to get tested for it? Y’all ni--as is playing with me. That’s my problem right there," she said.

Cardi then stated she wanted to get "paid," too. The rapper has since made headlines for urging testing importance among all, not just celebrities.

Chanel is currently in quarantine, but she's kept up the sexy updates. The star flashed her thong-clad booty recently while wearing a sheer Gucci dress – "bored" was the caption. Also proving popular has been a very racy and BDSM-style look of leather strapping and pasties as West Coast posed topless: "Just out here dodging corona, like," she captioned the photo.

Amid the pandemic, Chanel has managed to drop a new music video for her feature in "Secure The Bag." She's also kept up the top-up cash as she influences for clothing brand Fashion Nova.
