Demi Lovato stepped up to the plate today – literally. The 27-year-old superstar singer took to Instagram to do her bit for the coronavirus relief effort – Demi may have quietly ignored 30-year-old singer Bebe Rexha tagging her to go nude for COVID-19, but the "Sorry Not Singer" hasn't sat back and ignored the global pandemic.
Demi updated her account on Wednesday as part of the #DoYourPart challenge – the hashtag has already seen the likes of Britney Spears and little sister Jamie Lynn offer to pay for diapers, food, and baby wipes. Demi has teamed up with delivery service Doordash, but she's doing more than just putting her name to a brand.

Demi's video (seen below) showed her in simple selfie mode and from her bathroom, with the singer seen speaking in a white hoodie. Demi was backed by her tub, also rocking a full face of makeup, and she looked stunning as she said:
"Hey guys, I'm joining the Do Your Part challenge," then confirming she'd be "doing" her part by "donating meals."
A caption offered more.
"I will be sending meals to families in need to support them during this challenging time. Comment below to show me how you’re helping in your local communities! I’m challenging @scooterbraun, @arianagrande, @justinbieber and @haileybieber next!! "

Restaurants may be closed, but remember that a pizza delivery goes through a lot of hands. Demi added a safety message for anyone considering ordering in.
"p.s. - if ordering food through a delivery service PLEASE select the leave at door option, wash your hands after grabbing the order for at least 20-40 seconds, and wipe down the packaging and surfaces that it touches ??," she wrote.
The video managed to clock over 279,000 views in just 14 minutes. It also isn't the first social media message posted by the star amid COVID-19.

Five days ago, Demi took to Instagram to urge her 79.2 million followers to stay home – while a "stay at home" order has been made by California governor Gavin Newsom, not all states are under lock-down.
Demi's photo showed her holding a #IStayHome sign confirming she was staying home for her parents, her neighbors, and her health.
"There’s a lot of things going on in our world right now, but if there’s one thing that matters it’s spreading love. #IStayHomeFor my parents, my neighbors and my health ? Thanks for sharing this with me @kevinbacon!! ? I’m challenging @mileycyrus @beberexha @arianagrande @ashleygraham @rubyrose & @alokvmenon to share who they stay home for!!," she wrote.

The list of famous faces testing positive for coronavirus continues to climb. Mid-March marked 63-year-old actor Tom Hanks and wife Rita Wilson's confirmation, although the two are now doing "better" having been released from their Australia hospital. They remain in isolation.
Also testing positive have been NBA players including Donovan Mitchell, Rudy Gobert, and Kevin Durant, plus "Bond" girl Olga Kurylenko, British actor Idris Elba, "Bachelor" alum Colton Underwood, and two "Game of Thrones" stars. Jailed Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein has also tested positive, with British Royal Prince Charles announced as COVID-19-positive just today.
