It's always fascinating to learn about a celebrity's home life, especially when we hear about it for the first time. On the March 24th episode of Jimmy Fallon's Tonight Show (taped at his home due to coronavirus social distancing), we learned who was behind the camera that morning - and we learned more when she stepped in front of the camera for a sunny-day walk with the host of the Tonight Show.

Nancy Juvonen, Fallon’s wife, has been operating the camera for the last week during the at-home versions of the show. She also co-founded a production company with Drew Barrymore called Flower Films.

After being a cast member on SNL, Jimmy Fallon became the sixth host of The Tonight Show in 2014. Jimmy is definitely a family man. He and Nancy have two lovely daughters, Winnie and Frances. Nancy, a successful producer, prefers to be behind the camera. During the week of home taping, it was obvious that she knew what she was doing (this was not your typical home movie).

Nancy met Jimmy on the set of “Fever Pitch,” and the two began dating in May 2007 after Drew Barrymore invited Jimmy to a birthday party she threw for Nancy. The two got married on December 22, 2007.

Although not a household name, Nancy Juvonen has been a very successful producer on a wide variety of projects with partner Drew Barrymore. She was producer on one of the greatest cult movies of all time, “Donny Darko,” a film in 2001 that was also a great milestone in the career of Jake Gyllenhaal.

By the description of this quirky film on iMDB, you’d never think it was something to marvel at: “A troubled teenager is plagued by visions of a man in a large rabbit suit who manipulates him to commit a series of crimes, after he narrowly escapes a bizarre accident.” Hmmm…okay. Actually, it’s one of those films you have to see in order to appreciate it.

Jimmy decided to continue The Tonight Show at home while television production shut down during the coronavirus pandemic of 2020. That’s when he got everyone else in the family involved – wife, Nancy, their two daughters Winnie, 6 and Frances 5. From the footage you can see that Frances is a force to be reckoned with. If all else fails, they could bottle up her energy and make a fortune. She was crawling all over Jimmy much of the time, cute as could be.

Nancy has had an impressive track record in show business, and some of her background was revealed in the home broadcast of The Tonight Show. She had a variety of jobs, including working at a ranch in Wyoming, working at a mortgage company, and she even worked as a flight attendant.

Juvonen and Barrymore are self-taught on the business of producing (a feat in and of itself), and run Flower Films. In addition to the famed “Donny Darko,” the company produced “Charlie’s Angels,” “50 First Dates,” “Santa Clarita Diet,” and many more. They produced the reboot of television’s “Charlie’s Angels” as well as the 2019 movie.

Jimmy and Nancy, like many celebrities, have had to fight off divorce rumors in the tabloids. The cliché, “nothing could be further from the truth” applies here, and you can watch the love in their strong marriage ooze through the television screen together – at least for this time period of the home version of The Tonight Show. Enjoy!
