Shakira’s ex-partner is causing controversy in their relationship once again.
One second, let me put on my “shocked face.”
Gerard Piqué reportedly has introduced his and Shakira’s two children, Milan and Sasha, to his 23-year-old girlfriend, Clara Chia Marti.
This obviously is a MAJOR issue given Shakira and Piqué are still battling over custody of their kids.
Shakira & Piqué's Custody Battle Continues
Photos obtained by Spanish program “El Gordo y La Flaca” show the fútbol player passing the soccer ball with his sons while Clara is present.
However, the woman in the photos could be Piqué’s mother, but the program insists it's Clara.
According to “El Gordo y La Flaca,” there are suggestions that Clara is living with Piqué in his home in Cendanya.
The images were captured very close to their second residence, a house which Shakira and the soccer player were seen together in many times.
Piqué Reportedly Introduced His Girlfriend To His Children
As previously mentioned, the former couple is still engulfed in a bitter custody battle.
Piqué is adamant about keeping the children in Barcelona while the Colombian native wants to move them to Miami with her.
Shakira has a home in the Florida city, and the move would allow her to continue her musical career.
While Piqué has moved on, Shakira on the other hand has kept quiet… on purpose.
“It’s hard to talk about it, especially because I’m still going through it, and because I’m in the public eye and because our separation is not like a regular separation,” Shakira said in an interview with Elle. “And so it’s been tough not only for me, but also for my kids.”
The “Waka Waka” singer said the paparazzi have been camping outside of her home since news of their split and Piqué’s alleged affair made headlines.
She’s been working hard to “protect” her children amid all the hustle and bustle surrounding her life.
Shakira Has Been Doing Her Best To Protect Her Children
Earlier this week, the singer released a video teased for her upcoming single, ”MONOTONÍA.”
The video shows a very life-like heart getting stomped on repeatedly by a man’s foot while a woman desperately struggles to grab it in the background.

She captioned the video, “Nunca dije nada, pero me dolía. Yo sabía que esto pasaría,” which translates to, “I never said anything, but it hurt me. I knew this would happen.”
Earlier this year, fans of the couple were SHOCKED following news of their breakup. They had been together for nearly 12 years before parting ways and they share two children.
It’s rumored that Shakira walked in on Piqué in bed with another woman and that’s what led her to call it quits.
Sadly, this wasn’t the first time that news of his philandering ways had been taking place. In addition to a huge breakup, Shakira was hit with a massive tax fraud lawsuit by the Spanish government.
Shakira Has Her Tax Fraud Cause Looming
It’s alleged that she skipped out on paying $14.7 million in taxes when she lived in Spain between 2012 to 2104. Shakira claims she did not live in Spain during this period of time.
During this time period, Shakira’s main residence was in the Bahamas, but prosecutors say she lived a majority of the time in Spain.
She briefly touched on her “darkest hours” in an interview with Elle.
“I’ve paid everything they claimed I owed, even before they filed a lawsuit,” she told Elle magazine. “So as of today, I owe zero to them. And finally, I was advised by one of the four biggest tax specialist firms in the world, PricewaterhouseCoopers, so I was confident that I was doing things correctly and transparently from day one.”
Shakira calls the Spanish government’s claims “false accusations,” and she plans to fight the case as a “matter of principle.”
