Shakira is preparing to body roll and shake her way to a Spanish court house.

The Colombian-native will appear in court due to tax fraud charges.

Shakira insists she’s innocent, but the Spanish government believes she evaded taxes from 2012 to 2014.

They claim she owes more than $14 million in taxes.

Her public relations team issued a message over the weekend stating that Shakira and Spanish prosecutors failed to reach an agreement on the tax evasion charges.

Now, it’s time to go to trial where she will insist on her innocence.

“Shakira and her team consider that this case constitutes a total violation of her rights,” the statement reads.

CNN obtained a ruling in which the investigating magistrate said there is “sufficient evidence” to hold a trial.

Per reports, Judge Marco Jesús claims Shakira lived in Spain for more than 200 days in each of those three years making her liable to pay taxes in the country.
