Actress Angela Lansbury passed away in the early hours of the morning on Tuesday, October 11. She died in her home in L.A., only five days shy of her 97th birthday.

The beloved "Beauty and the Beast" star was also acclaimed for her starring role in "Murder, She Wrote." In addition to being a 12-time Emmy nominee, she also won five Tony Awards, an honorary Oscar, and multiple Golden Globes.

After her passing, many famous faces in the industry took to social media to pay their respects to her extraordinary talent and celebrate her lifetime of achievement.

"Frozen" voice actor and Broadway star Josh Gad tweeted, "It is rare that one person can touch multiple generations, creating a breadth of work that defines decade after decade. #AngelaLansbury was that artist.
