'Teen Mom' Star Leah Messer and Fiancé Jaylan Mobley Call It Quits

"Teen Mom" star Leah Messer and her fiancé Jaylan Mobley called it quits only a few months after they announced their engagement in August.
The two had gotten engaged in late August during a trip to Costa Rica. At the time, Mobley had gushed, “Two souls, one heart ❤️ It’s official!! 💍 The one 4L!! I love you to the ends of the earth! ❤️."
However that Instagram post has since been deleted along with several other posts documenting their time together as the couple goes their separate ways.

In an Instagram post shared on Tuesday, October 11, the reality star shared a black-and-white photo of the two holding hands while walking along a boardwalk as she announced that they had decided to walk separate roads.
"While the last year has been tremendously exciting for both of us, we’ve realized that it’s best we walk separate paths," the couple said in a joint statement. "We are so grateful for the lessons, growth, and memories we’ve had in this relationship. So many of you have watched our love story unfold, and we hope that you’ll continue to watch our stories while we move forward as friends."
"We will forever have love and respect for each other, and we ask for privacy as we refocus and transition out of this chapter together," they concluded, signing off the post, "Thank you, Leah and Jaylan."
Comments were disabled on the post, although many fans were no doubt disappointed to see the couple go their separate ways, especially since Mobley had given promise rings to all three of her daughters from previous relationships after their engagement.

After their engagement, Messer told PEOPLE that Mobley had a "great relationship" with her children from past relationships. She said that her daughters looked up to him "as a role model" and viewed him "as another father figure in their lives."
After the couple got engaged, they broke the news to her daughters with a picnic. At the event, Mobley gave each of the girls promise rings. Messer had posted photos of the occasion on Instagram, but those photos have since been removed.
In the deleted post, Messer had written, "When I dreamed of this moment, this is exactly what I imagined it to be. A slow steady unconditional love, not just for me, but also for my three daughters that I cherish most in life."
She added, "Thank you for everything you do for us. @jaylan_mobley We love you to the ends of the earth. It's just US 4L♾💒🍾🥂." Mobley had commented on the post, writing, "My Forever Promises 💍💍💍❤️."
Leah Messer Said That She Was 'So Proud' Of The U.S. Army Officer In Another Deleted Post
According to his LinkedIn page, Mobley served in the West Virginia Army National Guard as a First Lieutenant and a Deputy Team Chief of the Defense Cyber Operations Element.
He previously attended the United States Military Academy in West Point, NY, before getting his associate's degree at Georgia Military College. In February, gave a special speech to the 143rd Corps of Cadets, which he later shared on Instagram.
Messer shared her own post on Instagram, although it has since been deleted. In the original post, she had written, "First time getting to see this side of you and I love you even more. It was inspiring to watch you speak about failures & successes. We look up to you in so many ways & I know so many others do as well. Keep telling your story.👏🏼 Keep doing what you're doing. Proud of you!"
The two first made their relationship Instagram official in September 2021, sharing a snap of the two together on a bench.
As reported by PEOPLE, Messer was previously married to Jeremy Calvert from 2012 to 2015. The two share one daughter, Adalynn Faith. Messer was also previously married to Corey Simms from 2010 to 2011. They share two twin daughters, Aliannah Hope and Aleeah Grace.
Although fans are disappointed that their relationship fizzled out, many wish both Leah Messer and Jaylan Mobley all the best in their future endeavors.
