Miley Cyrus Meets Up With Emily Osment

Miley Cyrus and Emily Osment, who appeared in "Hannah Montana" together, recently met up again, though virtually, to talk about the old days.

Osment appeared on Cyrus' "BRIGHT MINDED: Live With Miley," which is the singer's Instagram Live show. Cyrus started the show as a response to the coronavirus pandemic.

Cyrus prepped her viewers with the words "You are gonna be shooketh." Then Osment appeared on the screen.

“This is the reunion of the decade! My BFF that shared the screen with me for the last 15 years," Cyrus said.

"Hollywood Life" reminds us that Osment played Lilly Truscott, who was Hannah Montana (Miley Cyrus') best friend.

“On and off screen she’s a bada– best friend. Whether for Hannah or Miley, she’s always there for her," Cyrus said.

She also shared pictures of the two together from those days. One featured Osment, dressed like Lola, who was “sanitizing” Cyrus. That picture was obviously referencing the whole hand-sanitizer shortage that we've been experiencing.

“There’s a theory the show predicted everything that was going to happen in life," Cyrus said about that picture.

Cyrus shared other bestie photos of her and Osment, including the day they first did press for Hannah Montana.

“My teeth had pretty much all decided to fall out like a month before," Cyrus said. On another photo of the two together, Cyrus commented: “This was our first day of like really hanging out."

Cyrus' quarantine has been one long "Hannah Montana" fest. On March 15, she shared another photo from the show, writing "preparing for social distancing" and hoping others stay "Human": "Be thoughtful. Respectful. Compassionate."

Around the time of that post, she and boyfriend Cody Simpson were preparing their home by cleaning it.

Cyrus had a public service message for people who were prepping for isolation themselves, reminding others not to take every can of food they see.

“NO ONE needs every soup in the store. The more we hoard the more expensive and sparse necessities will become, leaving many without essentials,” she said.

Cyrus was trying to turn the experience of a pandemic into a positive thing. Doling out some common sense was helpful.

“This is a great time to practice restraint… it’s incredibly difficult to make smart decisions while panicking, but think twice before following the fear and being inconsiderate. There is enough to go around if we take care of one another. This is a beautiful time to LEAD!"
