With news breaking that Bravo has zero intentions of releasing the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” and the “Real Housewives of New York” early for their loyal fans stuck away in self quarantine. We decided to make the best of the horrible situation. We did you a solid and compiled the best, most entertaining season of each current (not canceled) franchise for you to laugh your well through social distancing. With some many season for each series it is hard for fans to remember all the outrageous and hilarious things that have taken place over the year. since most fans agree that some seasons are better than others, here are the ones I got the biggest laughs out of.
The "Real Housewives of New York" is always a toss up as to whether it will be good or not. Some seasons have been excellent like this past season 11 where basically everyone lost their mind. Sonja Morgan freaked out about touching the Morgan letters, Luann de Lesseps had an absolute meltdown after her marriage broke apart. It was truly interesting to watch. However, the season that brought back to back drama was season 9. Bethenny Frankel was still around, it was Carole Radziwill’s last season (thank God), Tinsley Mortimer joined the cast which meant fresh blood to feast on. Also, of course, Dorinda had another year at her Berkshire’s home where she drank entirely too much and called out the women for being terribly rude as guests in her home. What more could you need?
This is a hard one. There have been so many great seasons of New Jersey. These women always bring the drama and even when the cameras are not rolling, they are still providing entertainment in the form of drama on social media. We still believe that season three when Melissa Gorga and Kathy Wakile joined the cast was one of the best seasons. It was also the highest rated season premiere. Th entire season essentially focused on Teresa Giudice and Gorga’s lack of relationship. The physical fights between husbands was as messy as it gets. Fans also got the chance to hear about Teresa through her cousin Kathy and let’s just say it’s not the nicest of things.
Hands down season six was the best season of the “Real Housewives of Atlanta”. This was the season where Kenya Moore joined the cast and all hell broke lose. Moore and Phaedra had some pretty intense fights that spilled over into the reunion. Throughout the season, Moore made it seem like she had some kind of secret against Parks and her husband Apollo Nida. The season also featured like after divorce for Porsha Williams and all the rumors that came out about her ex-husband being gay and possibly the reason why he left her. The season is emotional, but it also ended with Phaedra reading the absolute life out of Kenya. She accused her of spending her “weekends peddling through sperm banks.”
The “Real Housewives of Potomac” is still in its infancy. There has only been 4 seasons but these women are a shady, shady bunch. Season 2 may be the best seasons so far. The women received a cast shakeup with Monique Samuels bringing some freshness and a younger vibe to the show. This season brought out the bad side in people like Giselle Bryant who just can’t seem to not be shady and it also started the focus on Karen Huger’s tax issues which fans of the show know turns into its own storyline.
The women of Beverly Hills never seem to amaze me. They act so classy, yet they are some of the messiest high-class women you could ever meet. While every season has been thoroughly entertaining, we can only choose one. We recommend season five. The women had been chaotic all season. Kim Richards was back with her shenanigans that winds up upsetting a lot of the cast. The buildup came to a head during a trip to Amsterdam when Lisa Rinna completely loses it on Kim about a supposed rumor that Kim has dirt on her husband. Glasses go flying and food is wasted. That was only a small part of the drama that season. Convinced yet?
The “Real Housewives of Dallas” is another one that is in its infancy. There are only 4 seasons, but the women have proved they too, can pull their own weight. It took them a little while, but the cast finally had a season that I would call pretty explosive. Season 4 showed LeeAnne Locken’s true colors with an outburst of racist remarks during a trip to Thailand. There was also the drama with D’Andra’s mother giving her a lemon of a business.
Finally, Orange County, the original housewives. There have been so many good seasons, so many necessary cast shakeups and the drama is never surprising. Fans thought that seasons 1-3 were great because they got to watch catty women pretend that they like one another. I beg to differ. The show was great in the beginning, but it only got better with time and of course new cast members. Season 10 had to have been one of the best. Vicki Gunvalson was getting called out constantly for dating Brooks Ayers even after finding out he lied about cancer. There was also the drama that caused a huge riff between the tres amigas (for the umpteenth time). Overall, it’s safe to say almost every episode that season was worth a watch.
