The fellow entertainer met Long on the set of NBC's crime series "Third Watch." Despite no longer being romantically linked to his ex, the pair allegedly remain close. To date, the former couple continues to co-parent their 21-year-old son, Massai Dorsey II.

Being a part of his child's life meant having a relationship with the TV personality and her fiancé. However, it appeared Dorsey did not mind the scandal, as he had nothing but kind words for the disgraced coach.

It is important to note that the entertainer's words are his opinions about Long's current stance with her fiancé as the "Love Jones" star has not publicly shared her thoughts on the situation.

As for why his implied friend cheated on Long, the Beverly Hills entrepreneur stated that no man was above making mistakes. On that note, the father-of-one believed Udoka deserved another shot with his ex-girlfriend. Quoting the Bible, Dorsey explained that all men deserved a second chance because "the flesh is weak." The actor reaffirmed that the suspended Celtics coach was not a bad person and he would hopefully learn from his mistakes.

"It's easy to get to the top, but to stay at the top, it takes a different type of person," Dorsey said, "Right now in this season, you have to be very sensitive with women, unfortunately, because they hold the cards right now."

Before her ex-boyfriend's interview, The Blast reported that the "Are We There Yet?" actress opened up about mental health in a cryptic Instagram post. The contents of the entertainer's message read:

"A tip for mental health.. learn to distinguish who deserves an explanation, who deserves one answer, and who deserves absolutely nothing."

The author, which may have been Long, was not credited on the post. However, several celebrities like Meagan Good, Viola Davis, and Busta Rhymes, among other fans, wholeheartedly supported the actress.

Although the "Fatal Affair" star did not mention the reason behind her message, the mental health post came days after the 51-year-old got hounded by the paparazzi outside a shopping complex.

As seen in a video shared on Twitter, the TV personality and her youngest son, Kez, were heading to their car when a cameraman approached Long to discuss her relationship with Udoka. Despite his best efforts, the nosy reporter got no comments.
