The famous mansion, which has 10 bedrooms and 10 bathrooms, just recently sold for $40 million. The home also features a cinema and a 2000-bottle wine cellar. This is the home where Depp lost his finger in 2015 during a fight with ex-wife Amber Heard.

Depp said he thought the tip of his finger had fallen into a garbage bin, but it was later located next to the bar.

The luxury house, which is known as Diamond Head, made history as it is the highest amount ever paid for a Queensland home. The home was owned by motorcycling legend Mick Doohan and has been rented out numerous times by other celebrities including Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, and Pink.

Johnny Depp recently sued his ex-wife, Amber Heard, for defamation. His trial in the United States against Heard was considered a win as the jury found Amber Heard defamed Johnny Depp by publicly accusing him of domestic abuse, and found that Depp proved Heard lied about her allegations.

During the trial, many witnesses took the stand, including Johnny Depp and Amber Heard themselves. Stories were told and photos were shown as thousands tuned into the trial every day.

One of the stories that got a lot of attention was the one where Depp allegedly lost his finger during a fight with Heard.

Depp said he lost part of his middle finger as a result of an injury that he testified happened at the hands of Heard after she threw a vodka bottle at him.

Johnny Depp played Jack Sparrow in all five “Pirates of the Caribbean“ films, including “Pirates Of The Caribbean: The Curse Of The Black Pearl” (2003), “Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest” (2006), “Pirates Of The Caribbean: At World’s End” (2007), “Pirates Of The Caribbean: On Stranger Tides” (2011), and “Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales” (2017).

Due to Amber Heard’s allegations, Warner Bros.’ “The Fantastic Beasts” franchise dropped Johnny Depp and recast him with Madds Mikkelson. Disney also fired Johnny Depp from his iconic role of Jack Sparrow in the “Pirates of the Caribbean” franchise.

During the trial, Heard’s attorney, Ben Rottenborn, asked Depp, while Depp was under testimony, “The fact is, Mr. Depp, if Disney came to you with $300 million and a million alpacas, nothing on this earth would get you to go back and work with Disney on a ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ film? Correct?”

To which Depp confirmed he would never return as Jack Sparrow, “That is true, Mr. Rottenborn.”

During the redirect, Depp’s attorney Jessica Meyers wanted to confirm with the “Pirates of the Caribbean” actor if he would return to the franchise, to which the actor said, “My feeling was that these characters should be able to have their proper goodbye. There’s a way to end a franchise like that… I planned on continuing until it was time to stop.”

Also during the redirect of Depp’s testimony, the “Pirates” actor explained that he learned he was going to be recast as Jack Sparrow from a news article quoting a Disney executive just a couple of days after Heard’s Op-Ed was published in The Washington Post.

Depp testified, “I didn’t quite understand how after that long relationship, and quite a successful relationship certainly for Disney, that suddenly I was guilty until proven innocent.”
