Kourtney Kardashian Says Her Buns Look 'Amazing'
In the third episode of season two of "The Kardashians," Kourtney opened up about the changes to her body that came during her and her husband Barker's search for a child through IVF.
The socialite underwent several hormonal treatments, which caused her body to experience several changes, including weight addition.
"So, obviously, my body has changed, but it was like all of the hormones that the doctors put me on," Kourtney said in a confessional in the show, per E!News.
She also shared that the IVF treatments, which lasted eight months, had "taken a toll on my body, mentally and physically." However, she has now come to terms with the body changes and is even very much happy about her new figure
"My ass is amazing," the 43-year-old gushed while preparing for a photo session during the episode. "I'm so into my thicker body. I looked at photos of my body when I was so skinny. It is cringey."
Travis Barker Has Been Supportive Of Kourtney Kardashian
Kourtney's weight has moved up to approximately 115 pounds as compared to her previous weight of below 100 pounds. She shared elsewhere in a confessional that those "super skinny" moments came with down episodes for her.
"Not about eating. Not about staying at a certain weight. But like just in toxic relationships," Kourtney said, per E!. "I used to always say this: When I'm super skinny, just know I'm not happy."
However, through her weight change and swinging moods, the socialite has had the support of her husband, Barker.
She stated in the conversation, "I mean, every day, Travis is like, 'You're perfect.' If I make one complaint, he's like, 'You're perfect. You're so fine… You've never been better, "Now I'm so into it."
Kourtney added, "Having a partner who is so supportive of me and always complimenting me, no matter what, it's just helped me to really embrace the changes and actually to the point where I love the changes now."
The 'Pregnant' Comments Have Annoyed Her
Kourtney's weight changes have made several social media users speculate that the Poosh founder was pregnant. In a previous episode of the reality series, she had slammed those comments as rude amid her emotional IVF journey.
"Every single person on social media is always like, 'Kourtney's pregnant,'" she told mom Kris Jenner at the time, per E!. "'Kourtney's gained so much weight.' And I'm like, it's so rude to comment on people when you have no idea what they're actually going through."
According to Kourtney, the "pregnant" comments on social media have not changed, and while she wishes she were pregnant, she has no influence over whether or not it really happens.
The reality star said, per E!: "Everyone always comments like in every photo, like, 'I'm pregnant.' Obviously we wish that, but if it's in God's plan, then it is."
No More IVF For Kourtney Kardashian
Kourtney and Barker have since put a hold on their IVF plans due to its harsh effects on the reality star. "The hormones. The medication. You have to get put to sleep every time. I know it's for so many people, but it's just not for me," the reality star said during her recent interview on the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast.
She also shared that she and Barker felt pressured into experimenting with IVF due to her advanced age. "I felt like we kind of got pushed into doing IVF," the Poosh founder disclosed, per E!. "If you look online, it says if you're over 40, go right away to an IVF doctor. So I felt a little bit pushed."
Kourtney and Barker got married in May 2022. The pair share a blended family, which includes Travis's kids, Landon Barker, 18, and Alabama Barker, 16, with whom he shares his ex-wife Shanna Moakler, as well as Kourtney's three children, Mason, 12, Penelope, 10, and Reign, 7 with ex Scott Disick.
