Gisele Bündchen Spotted Without Wedding Ring After Hiring Divorce Lawyer

Brazilian fashion model, Gisele Bündchen, has been married to former New England Patriots and current Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback, Tom Brady, since 2009. Unfortunately, it seems that after 13 years of marriage, the two are going their separate ways as reports came in that they both hired their own divorce lawyers.

Now, Bündchen was spotted without her wedding ring.

The supermodel was spotted out and about in Miami, Florida on October 4, the same day that the reports came out regarding the divorce lawyers. Bündchen was wearing a white tank top and grey pants walking into the gym, carrying a water bottle and what appeared to be workout equipment, per reports.

However, when looking closer at her hands, many noticed her fingers were bare and there was no wedding ring on her finger.

Despite the reports, Bündchen has not made a statement regarding her relationship status with Tom Brady at this time.

Multiple sources recently confirmed that both Bündchen and Brady hired divorce lawyers. “I never actually thought this argument would be the end of them, but it looks like it is,” one source said. “I don’t think there will be any coming back now. They both have lawyers and are looking at what a split will entail, who gets what and what the finances will be.”

The couple shares two children together, Benjamin and Viv. Brady is also the father to Jack, 15, with his ex Bridget Moynahan.

If the two end up getting separated, insiders confirmed that they would share joint custody as both are very involved in their children’s lives.

According to reports, the couple would likely file for divorce in Florida since that is where they are primarily located. Another source who is close to the couple confirmed that they are looking at dividing their assets.

Tom Brady made headlines a few weeks before the NFL season officially kicked off when he took an unexpected 11-day break from training camp in August due to “personal reasons”, according to Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Todd Bowles.

Reports then began speculating that he and his wife of 13 years were having marital problems and were taking some time apart. Some blamed Brady’s decision to come out of retirement and return to the NFL as the main issue.

After Brady returned to training camp from his 11-day absence, he released a statement saying, “Everyone has different situations they’re dealing with, and we all have unique challenges to our lives. I’m 45 years old, man.”

Prior to Brady’s 11-day absence, Gisele Bündchen spoke out about her marriage and Brady’s decision to come out of retirement. “Obviously, I have my concerns—this is a very violent sport, and I have my children and I would like him to be more present,” she said. “I have definitely had those conversations with him over and over again. But ultimately, I feel that everybody has to make a decision that works for [them]. He needs to follow his joy, too.”

Bündchen continued to explain, “I’ve done my part, which is [to] be there for [Tom]. I moved to Boston, and I focused on creating a cocoon and a loving environment for my children to grow up in and to be there supporting him and his dreams. Seeing my children succeed and become the beautiful little humans that they are, seeing him succeed, and being fulfilled in his career—it makes me happy. At this point in my life, I feel like I’ve done a good job on that.”

The NFL Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback announced his retirement in February 2022 shortly after getting knocked out of the playoffs by the Los Angeles Rams, but quickly retracted his retirement and announced in mid-March that he would return for a 23rd NFL season.

Although some blamed Brady’s decision to return to the NFL as the main reason for the marital issues, a new source close to the couple said Brady’s decision to come out of retirement is not to blame. “The problems are not due to his decision to play football again — sometimes things are complicated,” the source said.

The source did not go into much more detail, aside from saying the speculation is “sexist” and it wrongly blames the model for their current issues.
