Presley Gerber said he may have to filter out the negativity on Instagram after he pranked his followers with a face tattoo filter.

The 20-year-old son of Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber shared a picture on Tuesday that made it seem like he got a second face tattoo. The photo caused a stir online but the model later revealed that it was an Instagram filter and not a real tattoo. Don't misunderstand, the "MISUNDERSTOOD" tattoo on his cheek is real but not the star with a bold L.A. in the center on the opposite cheek. It turned out that the "new ink" was a filter put out by the rapper The Game (we called it from the start).

Presley clarified his fake tatt post on his Instagram story where he confessed that he is having trouble dealing with the negative energy on the social media platform.

"It was a filter lol damn..." Gerber said, "also I don't 'want to be hood' wtf u don't know me chill I'm grateful if I wanted to I could be posting money n s**t but I don't so stfu please or imma delete my gram it stressful."

He may need to work on his grammar and punctuation but it doesn't matter on Instagram, right?

The filter fact was first pointed out by one of his followers, "Guys its a filter.. Y‘all need to chill! And even if it would be a tattoo its still his decision! Thank you @losangelesconfidential?," the fan stated.

The Game came out with filters that place his face tattoos on fans back in December. "The boy got his own IG filter...... CLICK THE LINK in my bio & go braaaazzzzyyyyy !!!! #Born2Rap #GameFace #ProlificRecords," he wrote on Instagram at the time.

After the backlash from his first face tatt, sources close to his family said they wanted Presley to get help, according to US Weedly. If the reports are true, getting a second huge face tatt would be a slap in the face of his parents.

“He’s been sent to a rehab-like program in the past,” the source continued. “Presley’s hanging out with a group of people who’ve been negatively impacting him.”

Many "fans" questioned what his face tattoo would mean for his budding modeling career but he doesn't think it ruined his face or anything.

“If I thought this was going to ruin my face or I didn’t want this, I wouldn’t have done it,” he said in response to the backlash. “I think that’s a pretty obvious thing.”

What was obvious was that the "new ink" was fake. You have to try a little harder to fool us (please don't try)!
