Hilary Swank Shares Twins' Pregnancy News On 'Good Morning America'
On the show's official Twitter page, a snippet of the interview was shared with the caption that read, "@HillarySwank is going to be a mom of TWO! Congratulations! [red heart emoji]." The clip began with Robin Roberts' voice as she said, "We hear that you have something that you'd like to share with us." Swank replied,
"Yeah, I do, and I'm so happy to share it with you and with America right now. This is, um, something that I've been wanting for a long time, and my next thing is I'm gonna be a mom."
Her revelation led the presenters to cheer and applaud, after which she said while beaming that she would be a mom to twins. Another co-host said she should have led her announcement with that, causing the 48-year-old and the other hosts to burst into laughter before congratulating her.
She later admitted that it was "so nice" to talk about and share it as she was now pretty far along to do so. The show anchors appreciated her opening up about the news to their audience right from the horse's mouth without having to hear it from another source.

Swank's pregnancy news comes four years after she tied the knot with her partner Schneider in the Redwoods in California. The couple dated for nearly two years and were first seen together in November 2016, according to Vogue. She also spoke about her wedding for the first time with PEOPLE.
The "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" actress described the romantic event as "timeless" as there was no other way she could define it. She added, "I was overwhelmed with gratitude and thanks to be marrying the man of my dreams and to see all the people we love together in the middle of such a profound setting. It was truly a dream come true."
The ceremony was indeed one of her dreams as her dad got to walk her down the aisle several years after she left acting for a while to help him get back on his feet from a lung transplant. Swank, who donned an Elie Saab dress for her wedding, was also joined by her best friend Mariska Hargitay, who served as her bridesmaid.
Giving more details about her relationship with Schneider, she revealed the romantic way he popped the question to her in Colorado. The "Camp Wilder" star mentioned that they came across "a beautiful sanctuary deep in the mountains" with a "stunning waterfall" cascading down to "rustic cabins built in the 1800s surrounded by beautiful pines and big skies."

One evening, Schneider dropped to his knees in front of the waterfall and proposed, ensuring that her dogs were close by so they would be witnesses. The loving duo has had a private romance since their first outing together, and although Swank never spoke about him publicly then, they were often seen cozying up in public.
The "Conviction" Producer Tributes Her Deceased Dad In Touching Post
Earlier this year, on New Year's Eve, Swank memorialized her late father with a heartfelt tribute months after his passing last October. The Blast detailed her message, which she shared on Instagram alongside a picture of herself with her dad.
In the message, she stated that she had gotten really close to her deceased father since she became his sole caregiver following his lung transplant seven years ago. "The Next Karate Kid" star confessed that the 73-year-old remained one of her best people, and she missed him every day.
She added that the saddening loss re-awakened the most genuine sense of living in her and assisted her better in understanding the circle of life. It also enabled her to forgive and move past everything that held her back daily, making her always feel more connected to the "Ultimate Source" and her father.
Swank further hoped the difficulties people faced the previous year helped them get closer to their most authentic selves while guiding them into the New Year with the necessary blessings.
