Pierce Brosnanis asking a court to protect him from an alleged stalker, who he says has been living in a car outside of his Los Angeles home.
According to legal documents, obtained by The Blast, Brosnan has filed an emergency temporary restraining order against a 55-year-old woman who he claims has allegedly been living out of her car, parked outside his Malibu beach home. The situation is bad enough, Brosnan had to call the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department twice to try and remove the woman from his property.
In the filing, Brosnan says "she has been stalking me and my family," and is asking a judge for protection not only for himself, but for his wife Keely, and his two sons Dylan and Paris.

Unfortunately, it appears the police were unable to arrest the woman for simply staying outside his house, and advised him to file a civil restraining order. If the person continues to loiter outside his home, they can then be booked on charges for not following the court's order to stay away.
Pierce describes the disturbing situation in detail, saying, "She originally said she was looking for Dick Van Dyke (she has a tattoo of him on her arm) but when she found me and my family, she stayed in front of our house. She gave me two odd notes, said she needed $1,500 for new tires, and gave me a drawing she did of me."
The good news is Brosnan was granted an emergency restraining order by an L.A. judge, including the person being told she can't contact him "directly or indirectly" or "harass" him in any way. The woman was ordered to stay 400 yards away from Pierce's beach house, and any job or school connected to the children. A formal hearing is set for October 25, 2022, to argue for an extensive restraining order lasting 3-5 years.
Pierce Brosnan Asking For Protection For His Wife And Children
The 'James Bond' star made headlines last month after wishing his wife of 21 years a happy birthday on social media.
"Happy Birthday my darling Keely Shaye Brosnan. I love you dearly. So many years of love, life, work, and play. Onwards we go," he wrote on Instagram. The couple married in 2001, after meeting at a party in 1994 after the death of Pierce's first wife, Cassandra Harris.
As you know, Brosnan played the role of James Bond in several films including 1995's GoldenEye, and ended it with Die Another Day in 2002. Plus, his other two other '))&' movies were Tomorrow Never Dies and The World is Not Enough.
But, in a new GQ interview, Pierce claims he doesn't really care who the new Bond will be for the next film. "Who should do it? I don’t care," Brosnan said. Adding, "It’ll be interesting to see who they get, who the man shall be. Whoever he be, I wish him well."
