Cher, At 76, Sets Paris Runway On Fire In Latex Bodysuit

Music legend Cher proved to the world that she's still got it.

The music icon, who turned 76 a few months ago, strutted her stuff on the runway in Paris for the Balmain Fashion Show. Following the event, the singer took to Twitter in elated spirits to gush about how she had a great time at the fashion event.

She also praised other models who walked the runway, calling them beauties from another universe. In response to Cher's tweet, fans of the star expressed their admiration for how stunning she still looked despite being far into her advanced years.

On Wednesday, Cher wrapped the Balmain runway show in France's Paris Fashion Week, and she was nothing short of fantastic.

The 76-year-old actor looked stunning in an ultramodern latex one-piece that hugged her in all the right places. She complemented the ensemble with matching gloves and a pair of platform black leather boots that added more style to her gait.

Cher parted her hair in the middle and let her lengthy, black hair fall past her bosom for the look. She also wore a coat of glossy red lipstick and a dramatic glittery eyeshadow.

Designer Olivier Rousteing, 36, accompanied the music icon on the runway to close out the show. He was dressed in a brown shirt, beige pants, and platform shoes that seemed like a fusion of a sandal and thick Styrofoam.

Cher and Rousteing were spotted hugging one other on the runway, grinning for the crowd and taking in the lovely applause in response to their appearance.

Afterward, Cher took to Twitter to hype the show and how much she had enjoyed herself. She also showered words of praise on the models that participated in the show.

"Just had best time, on stage…felt great," Cher tweeted.  " [The] show was probably best fashion show ever!" "[The] models were beauty from another universe. clothes 2 die 4. Olivier 2 die 4. "Stage was calling me 'Cher…..oh cher….come Home….' I hear you!"

Cher has been away from the media spotlight, which prompted a fan to ask her to "come back on other stages."

She responded to the appeal by saying, "It's been hard for me. I've Feared I might not…..but skipping down the runway made me think woman…pull up your big girl g-string & do your best!"

Elsewhere in the comment section, fans of the music icon commented on her glow and how fabulous she still looks.

One fan said, "I'm so happy you had the best time on stage, you looked amazing and sooo beautiful."

Another fan wrote, "This makes me so happy knowing that you are happy & positively glowing as you strut your stuff."

Alongside the many verbal accolades from fans, Cher was also lauded by Rousteing, who paid homage to her over six decades-long career that has impacted both the music and film industry.

"Cher has been a daring pioneer, a true trailblazer, for over six decades, never slowing down, always pulling us along with her, as she courageously marches forward," Rousteing stated in a press announcement to WWD.

He added, "' Style icon' doesn't come close to describing her achievement of defining more than a half-century's worth of fashion trends. And, in this challenging age that compels us to fight for long-overdue changes, her impressive, long-term commitment to dedicated activism is an example to all."
