'Vanderpump Rules' Star Dayna Kathan Defends Max Boyens Romance After Danica Dow Reveals He Cheated

Dayna Kathan is determined to give Max Boyens a fair shot at a relationship, despite the many warnings of her Vanderpump Rules cast mates.

Following numerous warnings from Scheana Marie, who dated Max previously, Dayna opted to ignore the fact that Max had allegedly cheated on another SUR Restaurant waitress with her best friend on her birthday. Then, weeks later, as a new sneak peek shows, Dayna chose to give Max another pass after he was caught having a meal with another woman.

During a lunch date with her fellow SUR employees and Vanderpump Rules co-stars, Raquel Leviss and Danica, Dayna was confronted with news that surfaced regarding Max's date with another woman.

After Danica tells Dayna that she doesn't think it should matter whether Max and the other woman were eating together at brunch or at an Italian restaurant, Dayna explained to the ladies that she hadn't taken any action against Max because the meal happened during a time when they weren't exclusive.

While Dayna is unconcerned, Danica is worried about Dayna getting hurt and said during her confessional that Max likely took the woman out after hooking up with her the night before.

"Just because they were seen at a brunch spot instead of an Italian spot does not change the fact that Max cheated on Dayna. It just that means you could him at a different stage of his cheating," Danica explained.

"It doesn't matter what time of the hookup timeline you caught him in. They still hooked up," she added.

"The thing is, when that happened, he and I weren't exclusive and were still just dating," Dayna shared after listening to her co-star's thoughts.

"You don't think that by any chance she was leading her on like how he has with my friend and everybody else?" Danica replied.

But according to Dayna, she doesn't believe Max was leading anyone but her to believe that they would eventually be exclusive. Instead, she misunderstood his outlook on their dating relationship.

"It just was different than what I thought it was," she told her co-stars.

After Dayna admitted to misinterpreting their dating relationship, Danica wanted to know if Dayna would be going back to Max after learning he was unfaithful.

"I do think I'm interested and I fully believe that Max really likes me," Dayna confirmed. "I want to start over and go back to what we were doing and pretend this horrible f**king week didn't happen."

"I feel like he just has a bouquet of red flags and girls are just like running around WeHo and picking them out of the bouquet," Danica replied.
