Brigitte Nielsen had her fifth child and first daughter when she was 54 in 2018, and that made a lot of news. For a woman of her age, the pregnancy wasn't easy and involved plenty of failed IVFs before it finally took hold. And while she got a lot of flak of being a mother at such a late stage in her life, Brigitte shook it all off, saying it is her life and she can choose what to do with it... Including marry who she wants and when she wants to!

Kasper Winding was a Danish composer, musician, producer, and actor from Copenhagen, and the duo tied the knot in 1983. A son was born to them, Julian Winding, but by next year, Nielsen had divorced him, and let her little boy stay with his father, choosing to go after husband number 2 instead. Surprisingly, the son, Julian, has no harsh words for his mother who he has a bare minimum contact with, and instead appreciated the lengths she went to, to make a career.

She may have worked with Arnold Schwarzenegger in Red Sonja, but it was Sylvester Stallone and Nielsen who tied the knot in 1985. While Nielsen has admitted to pursuing him, she also says that he begged her to marry him. The marriage was on the rocks from the start and doomed to be terrible. By 1987, they had divorced each other and for a while, Nielsen was ostracized as a gold digger and Hollywood put an embargo on her and her roles.

She got back with ex-fiance Mark Gastineau for a bit and had her second child, another son with him, before marrying photographer and explorer Sebastian Copeland in 1990. The marriage remained issueless and also culminated in divorce two years later. Then came husband number four, race car driver Raoul Meyer, with whom she had two more children, another two sons, Douglas Aaron and Raoul, Jr. After a 12-year haul, this marriage was over as well, and the hunt for the next husband was on.

Finally, she got hitched to Italian model Mattia Dessì, despite him being 14 years younger than her. At age 54, Nielsen also became a mother again, giving birth to daughter Frida, her first daughter after already having four sons. And with the marriage going strong for over 14 years, it seems this one is finally for the keeps for Nielsen, especially because Mattia Dessì got her off her alcohol habits. Plus, according to Nielsen, he is a more mature person than her, despite being younger than her, and keeps her stable.
