Chelsea Handler Champions Being Childless: 'Keep The Party Going!'

Chelsea Handler is all for being childless and free!

The comedian recently tackled a tweet directed at Millennials who are advocates of not having children. Handler posted a video on Instagram condemning the contents of the tweet and gave full-fledged support to other like-minded people like her who have chosen to remain on the same path.

The 47-year-old Comedienne has always been vocal about her choice but emphasized in an episode on her podcast, "Dear Chelsea,"  that just because one isn't a parent doesn't mean they won't have children in their lives 

Handler got very candid with her 4.6 million followers on Instagram by sharing an Instagram Reel directed at shunning a castigating tweet talking down on older generations who have opted to remain childless. 

The tweet read, "Millennials who are very cavalier about not having children are in for a shock when they enter their 40s & realize life is only half over. What do you do at that point? Keep trying to be sexy & have fun. I expect to see a lot of sadness & confusion about what to do at that point."

This did not go so well with the "Hop" actress, as she addressed the tweet in her gorgeous-looking house, wearing a white t-shirt with a red imprint on army green pants. She read the tweet out with a sarcastic look on her face and gave her two cents. 

The tv host called out the Twitter handler's name, branding him an "a**hole." She further said, "Yeah, you keep the party going. The whole point of not having kids is to keep the party going! You can have fun. You can experiment with drugs, you can read books if you like, you can watch tv until four in the morning, or you can go to bed at seven."

Further explaining her point of view, the "Chelsea Lately" host said, "That's the luxury of being an independent person with no responsibilities to little people."  She also pointed out the good being childless would have on mankind, saying, "Also keep in mind your carbon footprint, by not contributing to the mass population is a huge home run!" She said while swinging her arms in the process. 

The actress seemed pretty pissed as she gesticulated a lot, passing her points across to her viewers. She also captioned the video, "Keep the party going." Fans appeared to love her speech, with one writing, "You're literally my idol and make my every day," while another wrote, "Let's keep the party going!".

The "After Lately" actress' empowering post comes months after she announced her separation from fellow comedian Jo Koy on Instagram in July.  The pair dated for less than a year but have shared almost 15 years of friendship.

Per The Blast, Handler appeared to take her split from Koy rather well after posting a series of amusing photos and videos to her Instagram story in August while vacationing in Europe.

One photo showed a little kid fast asleep on her lap. Even though she has reiterated her desire to not have kids, she captioned the photo, "Single parenting is not a joke."

The actress and a group of friends who are presumed to be family members and close friends appeared to be having a good time. She was seen drinking beer and seemingly enjoying the perks of living a single life.

While Handler seems to be embracing singlehood and spending time with her loved ones, Koy appears to have moved on.

Earlier this week, we reported that the "Easter Sunday" star was seen in the company of an unknown woman, giving rise to speculations that he had acquired a new love interest.

The stand-up comedian enjoyed a cozy picnic with the mysterious woman on the lawn in Pacific Palisades. They lay next to each other on a blanket, their faces lovingly grazing one another as they appeared to be deeply engrossed in a conversation. 

Koy wore a checkered shirt, dark blue jeans, and a white sneaker shoe with back stripes. He accessorized the fit with a black shade. While the unidentified lady had on a sleeveless cotton top and jeans, wearing her hair loose. 

The actor is yet to officially confirm the status of their relationship and shut down rumors, and neither has he hinted about a future reconciliation with his previous love interest, Handler.
