Ariel Winter Stuns With Strawberry Blonde Hair & Something Under Her Sweater

Ariel Winter both showed off and hid something in her latest Instagram update. The "Modern Family" actress took to the platform on Tuesday for a stunning series of makeup-free photos – also showcased were the strawberry blonde locks Ariel has returned to as the ABC sitcom ends. Ariel has been taking nicknames for the look she dubbed "strawberry and shortcake."

Ariel's snaps have been racking up likes ever since they went live – over 72,000 were clocked in just 40 minutes.

Ariel's photos showed her seated indoors and looking fresh-faced without a scrap of makeup. The 22-year-old had opted out of flaunting her curves, instead covering up in a faded black sweater – Ariel let her red hair and flawless complexion take center stage as she shot the camera a soft smile and a direct gaze.

A quick swipe to the right showed Ariel looking even cuter, with a caption explaining more.

The comments section to Ariel's post is now filled – and basically overflowing – with heart and heart-eye emoji. The star's followers were positively gushing, with comments coming in fast.

"Beautiful Ariel! You are a natural beauty, love your freckles! ?," one fan wrote.

"Goddess?????," another said.

"You look stunning without makeup. Love your natural beauty ??" was another comment.

Ariel has been showing off the red locks a fair bit. A recent shot showed the star going racy in a sheer top as she mentioned dodging COVID-19 – celebs are just as much at risk of catching Coronvarius as the rest of us.

Ariel went redheaded in 2019, with the look proving high-profile enough to land the star a feature with Allure. Speaking to the magazine, Ariel admitted that she herself was taken aback when she made the switch.

“I’ve never dyed my hair platinum-white yet. Dyeing it this color was something I was really excited to do. At first, I was nervous," she told the magazine, adding:

"But the day after I dyed it, I felt like a different person. I walked past my bathroom mirror and was like, ‘Oh my god! Who’s in my bathroom?’ And it was literally me. But I love it. It’s my favorite style I’ve done so far.”

Much like co-stars including 29-year-old Sarah Hyland and 47-year-old Sofia Vergara, Ariel took to Instagram to mark the 11-year end of "Modern Family." Her final trailer snap had fans in tears – unsurprising given the caption.

"In just a few hours we will series wrap on @abcmodernfam, and along with everything else, I will be saying goodbye to the trailer I have had for almost a decade. Goodbye trailer! Goodbye Alex plaque!"

Meanwhile, Sofia Vergara has landed herself a sweet gig with her new judging role on "America's Got Talent."
