Penn Badgley’s murderous role as “Joe Goldberg” is no more.

The fictional character from Netflix’s “YOU” gets a complete makeover.

The trailer for season four of the psychological thriller recently dropped and it shows a completely refined professor Jonathan Moore.

Yes, you read that correctly.

Meet Professor Jonathan Moore

Joe Goldberg now goes by Professor Jonathan Moore.

He’s ditched the “loveable book store manager in New York,” the “shop clerk in LA” and the “doting husband in the suburbs.”

Badgley’s character has traveled across the pond to London, England.

“I’ve gone through a bit of refinement upon crossing the pond,” Badgley says. “And living in London has allowed me to bury the past if you will. Gone are the days of unrequited love and longing.”

Season four will see Badgley’s character focus on academia and instruction.

But don’t fret, he will still keep his “typical extracurricular activities”… strictly professional.

S4 Will Drop In Two Parts

Part one will be released on February 10 and Part two will drop on March 10.

The third season saw Goldberg and his wife, Love (played by Victoria Pedretti), leave their life in Los Angeles and move to the suburbs of Madre Linda. Love was pregnant at the end of season two and the fictional couple welcomed their son, Henry aka Forty, in season three.

As one could guess, things for the new parents took a turn for the worst and a massive killing spree unfolded.

The conclusion of season three sees Love attempt to kill her husband, but ultimately dies doing so. Badgley’s character torches their suburban home with Love still inside and jet off to Paris.

Before the third season even aired, Netflix announced the show had been renewed for a fourth season. In March, Netflix U.K. & Ireland tweeted that production on S4 had begun.

As previously mentioned, Joe gets the hell out of dodge and travels across the pond to start anew.

It’s now been revealed that season four will take place in ye old London town.

Netflix wrote "Cheerio... you. while changing his behavior may not be Joe's forte, he's never afraid to switch up his address. If his reading list is any indication, our boy seems to be across the pond."

The streaming platform also confirmed the new actors joining the cast will include: Tilly Keeper, Amy Leigh Hickman and Ed Speleers.

It’s still unknown if Cardi B’s pitch to be in S4 was taken seriously by Netflix, but she would definitely add even more wildness to the show.

The Blast previously reported that the “WAP” rapper totally fangirled over Badgley on Twitter and struck up an online friendship with the actor.

Cardi tweeted an old video in which Penn talks about social media and praises Cardi B for how she uses it, saying she has an "authentic relationship" with her followers.

Cardi B Could Appear In Season Four

During a press conference for "YOU" season 1, Penn says, "Cardi B is such a great example of that. She has such an authentic relationship, you know? I mean, and it's this incredibly nuanced place to be, and despite what many might judge as 'antics,' she has an incredibly authentic relationship and that's why people like her so much."

She captioned the tweet, “OOOOMMFFFGGGGGG HE KNOWS ME!!! OMMMGGGG!!!!!!Yoooo like I’m famous famous.”

Penn responded to the rap queens retweet with a retweet of his own and captioned it, “I-,” because clearly he has no words.

What ensued after was MARVELOUS.

Cardi changed her Twitter profile picture to a photo of Penn as his “You” character, Joe Goldberg, and Penn changed his Twitter profile picture to a photo of Cardi.

Given the love and clear admiration for one another, Cardi is now shooting her shot with the big-wigs at Netflix.

The rapper wants a cameo in the next season of the hit thriller series.

The “WAP” rapper took to Twitter to pitch a storyline to Netflix which includes her.

She wrote, “So it’s episode 1 and I’m at Paris Fashion week shutting it down! I turn around and there stands YOU. Ok finish it off @Netflix 😌.”

It’s unclear if the rapper will have a role in season four.
