Combs Began His Music Career After Graduating High School
He began mixing rap and R&B styles to create his own music, much like his famous dad shortly after finishing high school. In 2019, he released his EP “Cyncerely, C3.” He’s also appeared in many television shows including “Wild ‘N Out” and “Making the Band.”
Combs single, “Can’t Stop Won’t Stop” with Kodak Black, is currently climbing the charts. “It’s definitely a dream coming true for me, and it’s a great feeling to have the fans and people out there gravitate to a song that I made in the studio,” Combs said.
He also discussed what it was like hearing one of his songs on the radio for the first time. “I was in the car in New York. I was riding around with my friends. It was like right when I started doing music and ‘Paid In Full’ came on,” he said. “I remember I just jumped out of the car and I started dancing instantly. There’s no feeling like that. That’s like one of the best feelings.”
Combs Credits His Famous Father With Many Lessons
Combs has learned many lessons from his dad but said the biggest lesson of all is to “never stop.” “Can’t stop, won’t stop. That’s what it is,” he explained. “I definitely have the utmost respect for my father and all the pioneers of hip-hop. You know, my pops is the GOAT, and they paved the way for us to be here and to be able to have a platform. I knew this was going to be hard, but I didn’t know how hard. But we here, so let’s get it.”
Combs Is One Of Diddy’s Six Children
The musician is one of Diddy’s six children with three different women. He was born in 1994 to Diddy and model Kim Porter, who passed away in 2018. The couple are also parents to twin daughters D’Lila and Jessie, 15. While Combs is following in his dad’s footsteps, the twins are following in their mom’s modeling footsteps. The girls recently posted a TikTok video answering questions they’ve gotten about their lives. They discussed who they were named after, what they hope to do when they get older, their hobbies and why they often are seen dressing alike.
