Aaron Carter Looks At $80K Engagement Ring For Girlfriend Of 3 Months

Aaron Carter is taking his relationship with Melanie Martin up a notch. While most fans thought their romance was just a fling when they made their status public in January, the "Hard To LøVë" singer is now saying it's forever because he took his girlfriend of 3 months ring shopping on Friday. Aaron Carter, who is 32, isn't getting Melanie Martin a little old diamond either, he's looking at dropping nearly $100k for the sparkler and showcased the one she loved on his social media.
Flashing the giant rock on his Instagram Story, the video shows a jeweler slipping the diamond onto Melanie Martin's ring finger. When Aaron Carter clarified the price of the first diamond they tried on, he didn't flinch when the answer was "$80k." In fact, the actual price of the diamond sparkler was $80,800 as shown on the price tag. Following their diamond ring gazing, he took to Instagram snapping a pic with his lady calling her "the most beautiful diamond I've ever seen." But not everyone is taking Aaron Carter's shopping trip seriously. One fan took to Twitter and wrote, "Tatted names on each other, pretending to buy an engagement ring when he’s bankrupt, everything he does is a duplicate of when he was with Lina! CREEPY! All a Pile of poo show." FYI -- Aaron Carter filed for bankruptcy in 2013.
Fans have been skeptical of their love straight out of the gate with several of Aaron Carter's followers expressing their concern that Melanie Martin is just using the singer for clout. Many questioned her intentions for dating the troubled star and even started attacking her looks calling her "plastic." But the blonde bombshell has proved to be in it for love and has stuck by her man despite fans being worried over his mental health. Most recently, she proved faithful when he retouched his giant face tattoo despite originally stating he was going to laser it off.
Posting several videos of the moment a tattoo artist came over to "fix" Aaron Carter's tattoo, Melanie Martin let everyone know the singer "was gonna lazer [sic] it off" but instead "decided to fix it." She later showed off the finished product which just looked like a darker version of the Medusa tattoo he was sporting on his face before. Aaron Carter shocked fans when he debuted the fresh ink in September leaving many concerned over his mental state. One month later, Aaron Carter proudly revealed the reasoning behind the tattoo, telling Entertainment Tonight, "Medusa is my protector so if you want to come at me with some negativity, my Medusa will stare you in the eye and turn you into stone."
