5 Times Taylor Swift & Ariana Grande Supported Each Other That Will Make Your Heart Warm

People love to pit women against women in this day and age, especially in the pop music world. Our theory - at least as in regard for the current generations - is that it stems back to the early 2000s "war" that was Britney Spears versus Christina Aguilera. Then again, ALL roads lead back to Britney and Christina for us, so maybe we're not the most reliable source on the matter! Two names currently synonymous with pop music success are Taylor Swift and Ariana Grande. Despite subtle, ongoing rumors that these ladies are silently feuding, we've gathered some proof of the opposite!

First of all, we'll start with Swift's March 5th Instagram story update. She shared a Spotify graphic celebrating International Women's Day and their top 5 most-streamed female artists worldwide. Billie Eilish took the top spot, Tay Tay swiped second, Ariana came in third, with Halsey and Camila Cabello in fourth and fifth place respectively. "Yesssss," Swift's caption said. "I LOVE THESE LADIES!"

If that's not enough, let's take it back a few years to the days of Taylor Swift's "squad," which at the time, Ariana said she would love to be a part of.

During a 2016 interview with U.K. radio station Capital FM, a show host asked if Grande would be interested in being a member of Swift's roster of famous pals.

"Oh wow!" she blissfully responded. "All those girls are so nice. I would just be so down."

The next year, also in the U.K., Grande faced an unimaginable tragedy when a terrorist attacked her concert tour stop in Manchester. The deadly explosion took the lives of 19 people and wounded about 50 others.

Taylor was one of the first celebrities to lend her voice to the chorus of others sending their deepest condolences.

"My thoughts, prayers and tears for all those affected by the Manchester tragedy tonight," Taylor tweeted in May 2017. "I'm sending all my love.

Grande graced the cover of ELLE magazine in 2018. In a story titled "Ariana Grande Is Here to Save Us," the author underhandedly called out "those who, say, have a certain Reputation" - clearly a reference to Swift - for keeping silent on politics.

It was Ariana who politely deflected any negativity, saying "not everyone is going to agree with you, but that doesn’t mean I’m just going to shut up and sing my songs." In case you missed it, Taylor has since been ultra-active in political causes and provided honorable reasons for her past silence during her Miss Americana documentary.

Swift has also been rightfully vocal about her disdain for artist manager Scooter Braun, who also happens to represent Grande (and has for a long time). Speaking of silence, though, Ariana's remaining tight-lipped on the entire situation further shows that she has no 'bad blood' with Taylor.
