Olivia Wilde is once again (trying) to shut down any and all drama rumors surrounding her highly anticipated film, “Don’t Worry Darling.”

The actress and director of the film stopped by “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” on Thursday, September 21.

Of course, she was there to promote her film, but was also asked about the drama plaguing it.

More specifically, she was asked about “Spitgate 2022” involving her boyfriend, Harry Styles, and Chris Pine.

At the beginning of the month, ‘Spitgate’ was all the internet could talk about. It arised from a viral clip that seemingly showed Styles spitting on Pine while taking his seat at the Venice Film Festival.

However, a representative for Pine cleared the air and said the rumors were all smoke and mirrors.

Olivia Insists "Spitegate" Is Not Real!

A rep for Pine told People, the video is creating unnecessary drama.

"This is a ridiculous story — a complete fabrication and the result of an odd online illusion that is clearly deceiving and allows for foolish speculation,” the statement read. “Just to be clear, Harry Styles did not spit on Chris Pine. There is nothing but respect between these two men and any suggestion otherwise is a blatant attempt to create drama that simply does not exist."

Styles even joked about it during one of his final shows at Madison Square Garden.

“This is our 10th show at Madison Square Garden, it is wonderful, wonderful, wonderful to be back here,” the British singer told his fans while opening the show. “I just popped over to Venice to spit on Chris Pine but fear not, we’re back!”

It’s clear Pine’s statement and Styles’ joke weren’t enough to quell the rumors, so, Wilde addressed it with Colbert.

Olivia Shuts Down Florence Pugh Feud Rumors

“Let’s get to another question you shouldn’t have to answer. People say you are feuding with Florence Pugh. Is there anything you want to say to that?” Colbert asked.

“No. The only thing I want to say to that is that another one of our weird rumors, ‘Spitgate,’ which you might’ve heard about…” she said.

One person on Twitter didn’t agree with Wilde’s answer and accused her of gaslighting.

“To be more specific, she’s gaslighting. There are plenty of receipts that contradict what she claims, including her *own words*. She keeps mixing her story. Many female directors already don’t get asked this. Olivia is severely deflecting,” one person tweeted.

“Did Harry Styles spit on Chris Pine?” the show host continued to probe.

“He did not. But I think it’s a perfect example that people will look for drama anywhere they can,” Wilde explained. “Harry did not spit on Chris, in fact. No, he really didn’t.

“So, no tension between you and Florence Pugh?” Colbert continued.

Wilde immediately responded, “I have nothing but respect for Florence’s talent. She’s fantastic. She’s on the set of her movie, ‘Dune,’ right now and there’s nothing cooler than a busy actress. I have nothing against her for any reason.”

She also made it a point to note that she doesn’t think her male direction colleagues are getting questioned about their cast or are answering questions about their cast.

Early screenings of “Don’t Worry Darling” have garnered mixed reviews.

Some people absolutely loved it while others called it “predictable.”

Florence’s performance has been met with rave reviews while Styles’ performance was called subpar.

“So this is a #IMAX LIVE fan event and 90% of the people in my theater are screaming their faces off whenever #HarryStyles shows up. They’re mixing boos with cheers when #FlorencePugh appears. #OliviaWilde is only getting booed. Oh man… this is a VERY interesting experience,” wrote ‘Outlaw Nation’ host, John Rocha.

One person simply commented, “basura,” in regards to the film.

Basura in Spanish translates to 'trash' in English.
