TV personality Kim Kardashian has grown tough skin towards the haters and won't let them get to her anymore. The reality star and business mogul revealed that she is used to getting criticized by the public and now knows how to deal with it, all thanks to her family.

Kardashian opened up about this in an appearance on "Good Morning America" as she explained that it had "gotten easier" for her to handle. Kardashian first got media attention as a stylist and friend of the media personality Paris Hilton.

The SKIMS founder gained more fame when the porn company Vivid Entertainment publicly released her sex tape with ex-boyfriend Ray J. Since then, the mother of four has struggled with criticism and backlash from the public.

During the Interview (via Insider), Kardashian told host Michael Strahan how grateful she was for her family and how much she depends on them. "I couldn't do it without my family," she said. She also explained that it was now "easier" to deal with constant criticism because they go through it as a family.

Kardashian said, "It has gotten easier because I think you just get to a level where you see that so much of it is noise and we have each other." "We have us as a support system." She explained that after so long in the public eye, they have learned to ignore the "noise" and focus on themselves.

"When there's, maybe, a little too much noise, everyone's there to be like, 'Okay, we know what's real," she explained. "We know what's happening. This doesn't matter. Let's all just come back to what we know.'"

Her Family Is Always There For Her

Following Kardashian's sex tape scandal, she and her family started their reality series "Keeping Up With The Kardashians." The reality series, which ran for 20 seasons over 14 years, ended in 2021. It was one of the longest-running US reality TV shows.

It focused on the day-to-day lives of members of the Kardashian-Jenner family, including Kim Kardashian, Khloé Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian, Kendall Jenner, Kylie Jenner, and their mother, Kris Jenner. The family premiered their new reality series "The Kardashians" in April this year.

Recalling how much her family contributed to her career and the backlash they'd faced together, Kardashian said she's grateful to have them around. She said, "I feel so grateful that we had all of those experiences at the same time so that we could really lean on each other."

The businesswoman is currently in the middle of divorce proceedings from Kanye West and recently broke up with her ex-boyfriend, Pete Davison. She has clarified that she's now focused on making the world a better place. Kardashian was recently named the next receiver of the Baby2Baby Giving Tree Award for her kindness and generosity.

Per Independentthe reality star will be publicly commended at the Baby2Baby Gala on November 12th, 2022. According to the non-profit organization, the SKIMS model helped many families during the pandemic by donating "millions of dollars worth of clothing and hygiene items."

They also revealed that Kardashian has worked with the charity since 2013 and regularly provides clothes and diapers for needy babies and children. Kardashian has also been busy filming the second season of "The Kardashians."

Season two of the Hulu series premieres on Thursday and will cover the businesswoman's former relationship with comedian Pete Davidson. She will also open up more about her new desire to focus on herself and her plans for the future.

In response to a question on what "The Kardashians" Season 2 would be like, Kardashian revealed per Insider that it would be different from the last. She also noted that fans would be "surprised" by the season. According to the star, this will be her "season of independence."

Kardashian said she was fed up with the criticism and tired of caring too much about public opinion. She now plans to be her own woman and make decisions for herself. Kardashian also noted that fans would see her "generally" putting herself first and doing what is best for her.

She also plans to focus on her kids and "always think" about them. The star shares four children, North, Saint, Chicago and Psalm with West.
