Online Retailer Fashion Nova Wants Their Cash From Tekashi 6ix9ine

Tekashi69 owes money to Fashion Nova and the company wants him to cough it up immediately.

Legal documents obtained by TMZ show that the rapper didn’t pay up after he took money from the Brand in 2018 and reneged on the agreement. In 2020, he agreed to the judgment in the amount of $350k but seeing as he was not the only party involved they agreed to only take $39k from the rapper as long as everyone else paid up.

The remaining amount would be a heavy $311k something that the rapper laughed about when TMZ mentioned it to him. He told the publication “that’s hilarious”. He didn’t specify what was so funny, but that amount of money is nothing to laugh about.

The reason the deal went south is that the rapper went to jail. Fans will remember that Tekashi69 was arrested back in 2018 and charged with a host of charges including racketeering and discharging a firearm.

Around this time, the rapper must have been in denial because he was apparently still making long-term deals including the one he struck up with the fast fashion brand. They advanced the rapper $225k to cover brand promotion but he never got to that point.

The rapper apparently told Fashion Nova at some point that he plans on paying the money back, we assume when he got out of jail. However, he has been out for some time now and apparently hasn’t made any effort to pay back the advanced money.

Now, the rapper is partying it up and living his best life after almost going to federal prison for life. While fans are still trying to figure out how he beat that charge (just kidding, we know), Fashion Nova wants to recuperate what they advanced him.

The deal he struck was set in stone and bounded by serious legal jargon so the idea that he wouldn’t have to pay the fashion brand back is preposterous. However, we will admit he couldn’t have predicted that he would get swept away to jail a mere two weeks later.

Tekashi69 better hope his co-defendants cough up their part of the cash. Those people include the booking and entertainment companies that were involved with the deal. Fashion Nova was initially suing the rapper for 2.25million this was largely damages so he is getting off lightly with a $39k judgment.

We know he has it, he holds a stack of cash up to his ear regularly.
