'Counting On': Derick Dillard Is Still Shading Jim Bob Duggar

For the Duggar family, staying out of the spotlight is hard these days. Since Jill Dillard has made some notable departures from the Duggar family "standards," she's been in the spotlight even more. Ever since Jill and husband Derick Dillard left TLC's Counting On, they have been making waves based on speculation that they are no longer in Jim Bob's good graces.
As social media followers take notice of some of the shade Derick has been throwing Jim Bob's way, the saga continues.

Derick has been outspoken with his feelings about his father-in-law recently. He told one Instagram commenter that Jim Bob keeps the money paid to the family for filming Counting On in spite of the fact that the adult Duggar spawn are the stars of the show. Some fans were shocked by the revelation, and it changed the way many people saw the family. It would appear that the bad blood between the two has not subsided based on new social media activity.

Fortunately, Jill was able to bond with her sisters in February. The official Duggar family Instagram posted a picture of the older Duggar sisters, and Jill was featured alongside Jessa, Jana, Jinger, and Joy-Anna. Additionally, Jill and her two sons were featured in a photo with other Duggar women, including mother Michelle. Many Instagram followers were thrilled to see that Jill was able to spend time with her family, and many people wondered if the event was being filmed for Counting On.

The shade from Derick came from a comment left under a family photo that said, "Glad you were 'allowed' to visit with them." Derick and Jill have both 'liked' that comment.
Some fans were critical of the comment, claiming that there is no issue between the families. Others were quick to say that these are private issues that should be handled within the family. The fact that Derick and Jill liked the comment snarking on Jim Bob certainly tells followers something.

This reminds many fans of the time that Derick confirmed a rift between the family members near the holiday season last year. Derick responded to an Instragram comment saying, "It's just harder now because we're not allowed at the house when JB isn't there." This came on the heels of Jill trying to help her sister, Jessa, when she went into labor at the family house. Another commenter told Derick he should write a book about the situation, and Derick claimed that he is indeed working on a book, but "it takes time."
