Many users are coming forward, replying to Allen's Tweet, or tagging the actor in their own Tweet. It is clear that fans are not happy with the "Toy Story" actor after he seemingly mocked President Joe Biden.

One Twitter user wrote, "And this, kids, is why Tim Allen isn’t the voice of Buzz Lightyear anymore. He’s gone full Scott Baio. Or is it Kevin Sorbo? Meh, what’s the difference. ?‍♂️"

Another Twitter user called out Allen for being ignorant. "That's fine, our President asked a legit question, 60 minutes has never been a 60-minute show. If Tim Allen thinks he is mocking our president, the joke is on him being really ignorant," the user wrote.

Is Tim Allen Too Political?

Tim Allen provided his voice to the lovable Disney-Pixar character, Buzz Lightyear, in four different films. Tom Hanks (Woody), Don Rickles (Mr. Potato Head), Jim Varney (Slinky Dog), Wallace Shawn (Rex), John Ratzenberger (Hamm), and Annie Potts (Bo Peep), also provided their voices for the franchise.

Disney recently produced another film called “Lightyear”, which was a prequel to the “Toy Story” films and told the story of Buzz Lightyear, but the character was voiced by Chris Evans, and not Tim Allen.

Many believe the reason Disney has not rehired Allen to the "Toy Story" franchise is because of politics, as Allen’s views don’t align with most of Hollywood, but that has not been confirmed.

In a previous interview, Allen's co-star, Tom Hanks spoke out regarding the “Lightyear” producers' decision to cast Evans instead of Allen. He admitted to wanting to do a sequel with his longtime friend and co-star, but “they didn’t let Tim Allen do it.” Hanks said, “I don’t understand that.”
