On Saturday night, the country music star tumbled off the stage while performing his hit song "I Like It, I Love It." The scary moment occurred when the 55-year-old walked to the edge of the platform's catwalk per ET.

The musician crouched down with his hands stretched out to praise the guitarist, who flaunted his skills in a solo act. After that moment of admiration, the Louisiana native tried to stand back up but seemingly lost his balance.

Unable to gain footing, the Grammy winner spilled off the stage and tumbled backward toward the audience. Fortunately, the artist's fit frame saved the day as he managed to catch himself before any damage could be done.The "My Best Friend" singer smoothly jumped down from the stage, landing safely on the lawn with the aid of observant security guards.

Once safely on his feet, the country star laughed off the incident before greeting the worried crowd behind the barricade. The Billboard chart-topper's calm reaction to the incident was no joke as his representatives assured the news outlet that the 55-year-old escaped unharmed.

This incident places McGraw on the long list of celebrities who have taken nasty dives off the stage during various performances. The most recent being the Hip-hop sensation Post Malone. The Blast previously reported that the AMA winner experienced a nasty fall off the stage while showing off his rapping prowess at a concert in Missouri.

The 27-year-old was midway through the show when he stumbled into an uncovered opening in the middle of the platform and fell over. The brutal collision occurred during the rapper’s "Circles" performance, resulting in what many assumed to be broken ribs. However, the New Yorker assured fans on (Twitter) that his injuries were not severe.

The Hip-hop star shared a video of himself on Sunday evening, in which he appreciated people for putting up with his "dumb a**." Recalling his nerve-wracking fall, the 27-year-old explained that he missed the opening on stage near the acoustic band.

The "Sunflower" artist pointed out that the fall landed him in the hospital, but luckily the rapper's treatment did not exceed pain medications. Nonetheless, Malone felt terrible for ruining the show for concertgoers.

"I just want to apologize to everyone in St. Louis," the New Yorker stressed, "and I want to say thank you guys so much for coming to the show." Since the accident canceled the concert, the Grammy nominee promised to do a two-hour make-up show the following next time he toured in the area.

Malone concluded the video by thanking his loyal fans for their unyielding support and well wishes, noting that everyone who reached out to him had a special place in his heart.
