North West Is The Sole Owner Of This One-Of-A-Kind Karl Lagerfeld Purse

When you thought you couldn’t be any more jealous of 9-year-old North West, her grandma Kris Jenner goes ahead and gifts her a one-of-a-kind designer purse, and that jealousy flares up again.

We have to assume that the Kardashians are gifted a lot of free stuff. Granted some are better than others and some, we never hear about at all. Kim Kardashian let it slip that her extremely lucky daughter is reaping the benefits of all this free stuff.

The “Skims” founder shared with Jimmy Kimmel on the “Late Late Show” Thursday night that Northy is set to inherit a lovely bag gifted to Jenner for Kim’s hard work. During what she describes as a “high-stakes” photoshoot with Lagerfeld, Kardashian was anticipating receiving a “special” gift from the designer.

“The big myth is that he’ll give you a bag on set if it’s like your first photo shoot with him,” she shared with Kimmel and his audience. “I was so excited, I was like dreaming about what kind of bag he was going to give me.”

The mom of four was giddy about the idea of adding a purse to her collection but in walked homager Kris, “decked in head-to-toe vintage Chanel.”

The look was epic enough to steal the spotlight away from Kimmy who was pregnant at the time and admittedly very hormonal.

“The boots, the gloves, every accessory she can find … earrings, headband, hat, glasses, fanny pack, bag, backpack. It was like the craziest Chanel scene I’ve ever witnessed,” shared Kim of her mom’s “next-level” look.

“So [Lagerfeld] falls in love with her,” Kim joked. “It’s all about Kris Jenner.” That wasn’t even the issue, the problem was he wanted her bag and her mom walked in and interrupted her moment.

Not from Lagerfeld though, she had to buy her own. Whereas mom Kris was surprised with a gift. The designer brought out one of the label’s famed Lego clutches.“It was one-of-a-kind … a runway piece that didn’t even go into production,” fan-girl-ed Kardashian.

“I’m literally like, ‘This is the moment. He’s going to give me the bag’ … Then he goes over me and hands it to my mom.” Kim had a really bad reaction to her gift being given away. “I went into the bathroom, started hysterically crying and I’m like pregnant, hormonal, flew all the way to Paris for this?”

The reality star admits she may have gone overboard with her reaction but reminded the viewers she was very hormonal. “I call my cousin … and I’m like, ‘This bitch took my f—king bag.” To be honest, the purse is enough to make anyone want to fight their own family member.

The crystal-studded clutch appeared on the runway of Lagerfeld’s shows but ultimately he opted to put a different version into production. And just for reference, that version was very similar with the same black-and-white detailing and is selling currently for $12,760 according to PageSix who pulled the information from 1stdibs.

Part of why Kim was so upset was because she planned to gift North the purse herself which made sense because she was pregnant with her at the time. Luckily for her, mom Kris was thinking the same thing.

She has put a provision in her will that states the tiny fashions will inherit the one-of-a-kind clutch for her own collection one day, which we are sure mom Kim will still be begging to borrow.
