The first time we met Teresa in season one of the Real Housewives of New Jersey, she seemed like the "every girl" in the land of Jersey. Big hair, big house, bigger personality. But when you live in a house of cards, it doesn't take long for the facade to begin to crumble, and with Teresa, the whole damn structure was about to collapse.

Let's start with the fraud, because it's beginnings go way back. Teresa Gorga married Joe Giudice in 1999. Their families go back to the old country. The two were known to spend lavishly, but the need to keep up with the Jones's only intensified when the couple and their family joined the cast of the Real Housewives of New Jersey in 2009. According to E! Online, the cracks in their marriage began to show as the couple faced federal indictment for fraud in 2013. The fraud was in regards to a $3.5 million dollar loan the couple was granted using false information, according to app.com . The couple would later would attempt to declare bankruptcy while hiding assets, which would land them in even hotter water.

While the reality star was accused, tried, and convicted of fraud, there are plenty of other moments that can be pointed to to eviscerate her in the court of public opinion. Teresa has a storied history of fudging the truth, or out and out lying, as a means to ensure she comes out on "top," in the most self-proclaimed way possible.

Most viewers will remember Teresa's attempt to take down her own sister-in-law, Melissa Gorga, exposing her as a stripper during the penultimate episode of season 4 of RHONJ. After a long and arduous battle, Teresa was exposed as plotting to "take down" Melissa, but many are left scratching their heads and wondering "why?" In the world of Teresa Giudice, questions like this remain insignificant.

We are talking about a woman who flipped a table at a dinner with children, after all.

But the recent events that have been revealed regarding her dishonest nature shouldn't come as a shock to any. At least not anyone who has been paying attention.

In last week's episode of RHONJ it was revealed that Teresa did, in fact, encourage Danielle Staub to pull the hair of castmate, Marge Josephs. It surely came to no shock to views that not only was a claim put forward by Staub, but receipts were provided!
