"Pitch Perfect" star Brittany Snow and husband Tyler Stanaland are separating and ending their marriage of two years.

Snow announced the news earlier today on her Instagram account, noting that she and Tyler "made the difficult decision to separate."

The actress and Los Angeles realtor couple previously announced their engagement to the public in February 2019. They were married about a year later in March 2020.

The couple appeared very happy at the time, with Snow writing that Stanaland was "the man of my wildest & most beautiful dreams." She added that at the time she was "thanking my lucky stars for the truest feeling I’ve ever felt."

Snow noted in the Instagram post the couple's decision to separate "was made with love and mutual respect for one another." She also noted that the two plan to maintain a good relationship with each other as the share a dog together named Charlie. Snow stated,  "We sincerely appreciate your support and ask for privacy as we navigate this new chapter."

Snow shared some lovely from the couple's wedding over two years ago. The two appeared completely in love and devoted to one during the wedding. She wrote on her Instagram account after the wedding, "I love you @tylerstanaland. You’re my dream come true."

Reality Show 'Selling The OC' Caused Friction In Their Marriage

People reports that Stanaland appearing on the reality show, "Selling the OC," was a source of various issues for their relationship. One source claimed that Snow was not keen on Stanaland appearing on the show, but a source told People, "He wanted to make a name for himself on his own terms.

Stanaland, who is also a former professional surfer, previously admitted during the "Reality Life with Kate Casey" podcast that his "Selling the OC" costar Kayla Cardona attempted to kiss him twice off-camera. According to People's report, the incident that happened during filming was the proverbial straw that broke the camel's back, and it "broke" the couple beyond repair.

As for what comes next, Snow is said to be looking for the best time to complete divorce proceedings. She also reportedly hopes to maintain their privacy while doing so.

The reality show currently streams on Netflix and follows The Oppenheim Group selling lavish oceanfront listings. According to People's report, an insider said that the couple is "fully over," citing that the women on the reality show are "obsessed" with Stanaland. However, the insider noted to People, "He's been trying to be really respectful but it's taken a toll on his marriage 100 percent."

Besides the "Pitch Perfect" franchise, Snow recently starred in the critically acclaimed horror film, "X," released earlier this year. Her other credits include "Hairspray," "Prom Night," and "96 minutes."

Meanwhile, her upcoming film, "Christmas with the Campbells," is expected to hit theaters and AMC+ later this fall. The project also stars Justin Long and Alex Moffat. Deadline reports that the film is a "traditional holiday romance," but it will also have "unfiltered adult humor." Meanwhile, "Selling the OC," featuring Stanaland, is still streaming on Netflix.
