There was no way Pete Davidson was going to let Ariana Grande have the last word so easily. Using his new Netflix standup special as ammo, he targeted Ariana Grande on numerous occasions, and in true Pete fashion, he didn't hold back.
The Saturday Night Live star, who was engaged to the singer for four months before their whirlwind romance came to a halt, was merely responding to Grande calling their relationship just a “distraction” as well as “frivolous and fun and insane and highly unrealistic".

“She has her songs and stuff and this is what I have,” he said, referring to his comedy, in his special, which is currently airing on Netflix. “You’re like, ‘Pete, this isn’t fair. You’re airing out dirty laundry. How could you do that? Where did she say this stuff? To her friends in the confidence of her own home?’ No, she said it on the cover of Vogue magazine.”
Davidson didn't stop there, but continued to point fingers at his famous ex.
“Can you imagine if I did that?” he continued. “My career would be over tomorrow if I spray-painted myself brown and hopped on the cover of Vogue magazine and just started sh*tting on my ex."
Of course, Davidson is referring to Grande's Vogue magazine cover, where her skin looks a lot darker than typical. She garnered a lot of backlash for spray painting her skin entire shades darker than natural, and he wasn't going to let that slip by without making a joke.

Ariana Grande, who is known for sporting a high pony tail on top of her head, has been made fun of in the media for this consistently. Little do most people know, this was originally due to Grande's hair experiencing a lot of breakage because of the constant bleaching and color changes she endured during her time playing Cat on Nickelodeon's Victorious.
Again, this didn't stop Davidson. “My biggest fear is that I’m gonna get shot in the back of the head by a 9-year-old with a ponytail and the last thing I’m gonna hear is ‘#canceled'”.

Ariana Grande famously discussed the size of Pete Davidson's package in the beginning of their highly publicized relationship, and Davidson thinks that was a double edged sword.
“She’s a very smart person,” he said while admitting it’s going to come back to haunt him. “She did that so that every girl that sees my d**k for the rest of my life is disappointed. It’s a lifetime L.”
Grande has yet to speak out on his Netflix special, but it won't be shocking in the slightest if she does.
